Mattie's third day home

Mattie met a lot of people today. Two sets of neighbors, a cat, and three dogs. She likes the Havanese across the street. They will have a playdate as soon as Mattie has all her shots.

The most exciting part of the day was when we were sitting together in the doorway and the garbage truck came by. Mattie couldn't believe her eyes.

While I was outside, Mario caught and ate an entire mouse. Nothing remained. No bones, no fur. He looked up at me while chewing and meowed pleasantly.
