(Readers POV)

I kicked Hazel away. We have been training for hours at a time. He grabbed my leg and slammed me into the floor. I took a few deep breaths and got my leg out of his grasp. I looked at Hazel and he is starting to get tired.

Hazel: Let's stop for now.

I just nodded my head and sat up. Hazel walked up to me and handed me a bottle of water.

(Y/N): ...Thanks.

I took several big gulps of water and wiped some sweat from my forehead.

Hazel: You are improving fast.

(Y/N): Tell me something I don't know... Actually. Why has mother made me start training with you?

Hazel: All Salem told me was to train you. I'm sure there is something she is preparing for.

(Y/N): If mother is expecting us to give our best, then make sure not to disappoint.

I heard some people walk into the room. I looked over and saw Emerald and Mercury walk in.

Mercury: Tyrian told us to start training. If you two don't mind, we would like the room for just us.

Hazel just stayed quiet and walked out. Mercury looked at me and coughed.

(Y/N): Don't order me around. You have no right to do so.

Emerald: Alright, it's fine. Mercury was just joking.

Mercury and Emerald threw a few punches at each other. They either dodged or blocked each other's attacks. Seeing these two train after training with Hazel... The difference is night and day. I threw my water bottle at them, making them stop.

Mercury: Now what was that for?

(Y/N): If that's how you train, then I'm surprised you two are still breathing air.

Emerald: We just don't get serious at the start.

I sat up and cracked my knuckles.

(Y/N): You know what? I'm going to show you how to get better.

Mercury: That won't be necessary-

I interrupted Mercury by punching him in the face. He fell down to the floor.

(Y/N): What did I say about ordering me around? Now, you two will train for real.

Tyrian: Yes! Learn to take charge!

I looked behind me and saw Tyrian walking towards me.

Tyrian: You finally learned to grow some backbone. I'm glad that you are growing so much. It's like watching a Grimm kill it's first victim.

Emerald took a step back and Mercury got up and looked angry.

Tyrian: Get some rest. I'll toughen these two up. Goddess said so.

(Y/N): Just don't kill them.

I walked out of the room. I smiled to myself and clenched my fist.

(Y/N): I want to kill them myself.

I was walking to my room, but I stopped myself when I saw mother, and Hound next to her, across the hallway. I noticed she's in slightly different clothing.

Salem: (Y/N). Come here.

I walked over to her. She looked at me in the eyes.

Salem: We are going to Atlas soon.

(Y/N): Atlas?!

That's where Blake and everyone else is. Mother gave me skeptical look.

Salem: It sounds like you already know about Atlas. Why is that? You've never been there before.

(Y/N): I... I found out about it while I was at Argus.

Mother glared at me, making Hound start to growl. It's like she's about to let out some anger on me. It's scaring me.

Salem: You aren't lying to me, are you?

(Y/N): I wouldn't lie to you, mother.

She smiled at me and nodded her head. Hound calmed down.

Salem: I knew you wouldn't.

(Y/N): If you don't mind me asking, why are we going to Atlas?

Salem: I have something important there that I need to get. I'm sure you understand the feeling.

Yeah, I really do. This is good and bad. It's good because I can see Blake again, but if anyone there gets in mother's way then she will kill them without a second thought.

(Y/N): When will we be leaving?

Salem: In a few days. So you better be ready by then.

(Y/N): Right, of course.

Mother gave me a hug and rubbed my back. I returned the hug. We stopped hugging and mother walked past me. Hound rubbed up against my chest and then followed mother. I walked into my room and laid down on the bed. My head start to ache as I began to remember some things.

(Y/N): What's this now?

I remember being on a battle field. Hundreds of fallen people surrounded the area and I'm covered in wounds. I saw mother fighting with a man I haven't seen before.

Past Ozma: Give him back!

Past Salem: You don't deserve to have him! (Y/N) wants to be with his mother!

The two threw magic blasts at each other. I tried to move forward to stop the fighting, but it's hard to move.

Past (Y/N): Please... Stop it...

After a few steps forward, I got hit by two magic attacks.

Past Salem and Ozma: (Y/N)!

I quickly fell down and my eyes started to close. I saw mother quickly kill the man and walked up to me. She knelt down and gently held me up.

Salem: It's going to be ok. Mother is here for you. After you wake up, I'll make you so much better. Your bastard father won't ever touch you again.

The memory stopped there. Did mother take me away from father during one of my past lives? My headache started to settle down. I sat up and looked up at the ceiling.

(Y/N): I know mother is bad, but she only wants what's best for me... This is all so confusing!

I hit myself on the head, trying to make sense of... Everything! How many times have I been through this?!

(Y/N): No... Stop it... Just calm down...

I looked down at my hand. I slowly turned it pure white, making my veins visible.

(Y/N): ...Just what am I?

That shouldn't bother me. I'm just thinking crazy. I just need to find something to do in the mean time.
