They went on a hunt later that same week. It wasn't a big hunt. Of course they all came back to the bunker covered in cuts and bruises still. Dean had the most damage because, even though he knew Cas could protect himself, he didn't want him to get to badly beat up.

They all entered the bunker, Dean watched Cas closely as he limped down the stairs. It was strange to see him in pain like this. Sam was finishing wrapping his arm before any of them spoke, since getting back. "So Sammy, find anything helpful, to help Cas?" Dean asked his brother. Cas was sat across from Dean, looking at his wounds. "No haven't found much that useful." Sam replied, opening his laptop and handing the first aid kit to Dean. "Cas," Dean said, going over to his, taking the first air kit with him. Cas looked up into Deans green eyes, with his blue ones.

"Here," He said, kneeling down beside Cas and rolling up what was left of his left pant leg. It was all torn up, along with his leg. Cas watched Deans every move very carefully as he cleaned and wrapped his cut up leg.

Sam picked up his laptop and went to his room, leaving the hunter and ex-angel alone. He had found something that might be helpful but he didn't want to tell his brother yet. "Hey Samsquatch." Gabe said to Sam when the door to Sams room opened. Gabe was sitting on the bed. "What are you doing here Gabriel?" Sam asked, walking past the angel. Gabe didn't answer he just sucked on the lollipop he had as he watched Sam, who took a seat on the bed away from the angel. "Something wrong?" Gabe added, while Sam looked at his laptop. Gabe moved closer, to see what the hunter was looking at. "How to get Cas' grace back, I thought you knew." He said, backing away from Sam. "Another angel has to die...and Cas has to take that angels grace." Gabe added, standing up off of the bed.

Sam shook his head, as he looked up at the angel. Gabe was watching him closly, even though he hadn't moved. "Gabe," Sam said, setting his laptop aside. "Cas wouldn't let us kill you just so he could get his grace back."He finished, standing up and taking a step towards him. "I won't let them either." Sam whispered, Gabe didn't hear him.
