Negi Nivaas...
Aarushi was running. Aarushi, the youngest child of Negi family. Karan was the eldest, then Rohit and finally Aarushi.

As she reached a room, she knocked at the door. "Bhabhi, darwaza kholo na!" She said. A couple of moments later, a young lady opened the door.
"Sorry ready ho rhi thi" She said. The lady was Negi family's elder daughter-in-law, Karan's newly wedded wife.

"Of course, aaj suhaag raat jo hai" Aarushi teased Devaki. "Wesa hua to unfair aapke saath. Shaadi ke baad bhi do raat rukna pada suhaag raat ke lie...all because of that stupid kundli thing" Aarushi said annoyingly.

"Kucch bhi haan Aaru? Do raate hi to thi, koi baat nhi. At least ab sankat to tal gaya" Devaki said tyding her bed up. "Chalo na Bhabhi, aaj apna saara samaan Karan Bhai ke room me shift krdo" Aarushi suggested. Devaki smiled and nodded.

Some hours later at Jai Hind College...
Aarushi was sitting in the Media lesson. She was taking notes when her gaze fell on some guys standing out of her class. They were sticking some posters on the pillar. Almost everyone went, just one student stayed, looking at the poster.

Aarushi was continuously looking at him, without looking at his face, she understood it was Sumedh.
Aarushi was happy just by looking at her crush.

Suddenly Sumedh turned around. Aarushi was so lost, that she didn't realise. Sumedh looked at her and then looked behind him. After checking everywhere he understood that Aarushi was staring at him.

Sumedh smiled and waved his hand. Aarushi's friend gave her a nudge. Aarushi came back to reality and saw Sumedh waving at her. She widened her eyes and smiled.
Sumedh showed a thumbs up, Aarushi nodded. He smiled and left.

Later in evening...
Rohit and Karan were sitting on a couch in the living room. Their father was reading a newspaper, while Devaki and her mother-in-law were decorating Durga Maa's idol in the Mandir.

"Rohit ab teri baari hai" Rohit's mother said. "Meri...konsi baari?" Rohit asked. "Shaadi ki" She replied. Rohit cocked his eyebrow. "Aapko galat fami ho geyi hai...mujhe nhi parhna abhi shaadi-vaadi me" He said. She stood up and went to him.

"Shaadi to tujhe karni hi padegi" She said. "Maa kaha fasa rahe ho aap?" He asked annoyed. "Tujhe koi ladki psand hai to btade" She said. Rohit rolled his eyes. He simply didn't want to get married. It was a big responsibility and he was not ready to take it.

"Maa koi nhi psand mujhe" He said. "Theek hai, me tujhe kucch photos dikhaungi, koi ladki psand aai to bta dena, baat aage badhaenge" She said. Rohit was about to open his mouth, but his mother left.

He gave a helpess look to Karan, but he raised his hands in the air, giving up. Rohit went to Karan and whispered in his ear "Ab to official hai, kitna door rakhoge bechari ko?". Karan looked at Devaki.

"Raat hamari hi hai pyaare" Karan said tapping on his cheek. Rohit chuckled. "Me bedroom saja deta hu fir, ittar bhi to chahiye" Rohit said with a smirk. Karan blushed.

Aarushi came and she was looking quite happy. A different excitement was on her face. "Ehh Chipkali!" Rohit called her. She made a poker face. "Don't call me Chipkali...I'm Aarushi The Mallika" Aarushi said throwing herself on the couch.

"Chal na...badi khush hai aaj? Kya baat hai?" He said sitting next to her, wrapping his arm around her shoulder. "Woh mera face hi esa hai" She lied. Well, how could she tell her brother that she was happy because her crush noticed her.

"Whatever" Rohit chucked it, "Karan Bhai ka bedroom sajaana hai, help kar" He said. Aaarushi nodded and they left.
