Marriage.

Holy shit how did I even get here? Dunno. Anyways we don't talk about how much Happy Sugar Life may have affected and changed my views on marriage, but I think that said views were changed for the better.

I see marriage as something that would be pure and beautiful, if the law and government hadn't snatched and altered it.

To me, the idea of marriage is not something sealed by a priest, not something confirmed by the government.

A wedding to me is just you and the one you love, alone. No guests to stare at you with watching eyes, no witnesses. Why would you need a witness? It's not a trial or a testimony. It's a ritual to forever bond you, something pure to keep you connected to the one you love forever.

A beautiful place. No guests. No priest. Just you, your lover, and the vows.

You don't need to prove anything, so why bring a crowd?

"I want everyone to know" okay. Personally it feels like inviting a crowd to a wedding is having a bunch of people intruding on a ceremony that should be private, just you and your lover.

Why no priest? Sure, it might not be a legal marriage, but it shouldn't have to be. Marriage is the bond between you and your loved one. It's love, not law. Screw the damn law.

You. Your love. The vows. Exchange of rings. A kiss. Uninterrupted, with only eachother. Something pure and beautiful.

....but that's not what an actual wedding is, is it? That's sad.

| Uhhh I wrote this yesterday at 3 am so don't take it too seriously-

I was under the influence of Happy Sugar Life, hopeless romanticism, chocolate withdrawals, and so on so...yeah-

Pay NO mind to this
