Basic Introduction:

Kartik is a carefree, outgoing and friendly personality. He says that he doesn't want to get married at this age, but the reason is something else. Dadi gave Kartik her kasam so he agreed to meet the girl. Naira on the other hand is a quiet and shy girl, but when needed can become a sherni. She doesn't like the concept of arranged marriage, and also doesn't want to get married for some reason. Naitik asked her just to see the boy once and then think about her decision, so she gave in as she loves her Papa. Both families don't know each other much but have heard about each other from mutuals.

*Akshara & Shubham are alive. Suvarna is their real mother. Shubham was always with them. Kartik is eldest, then Keerti and last Shubham. Naksh is eldest and Naira is youngest. No problems in Naira-Akshara or Kartik-Family.

Kartik is getting ready to meet a girl, while Shubham, Keerti & Mansi are helping (or should I say annoying) him.

Kartik's POV

Dadi bhi na, kya zaroorat hain apni friend ke bhai ke friend ki bete ki beti ko dekhne jaane ki, abb kaise samjhau unhe ki main shaadi nahi kar sakta, abb kab tak main age ka bahane dete rahunga. Dadi ne kasam di hain toh maan toh liya, but thik hain, ladki ko main pehli baar mein thodi na pasand aane wala hoon. Baas main koi reason de paun, kyunki agar yeh shaadi ki baat aage badhi toh main toh faas hi jaunga.

POV ends

M: Bhai zara apna acha wala perfume lagana, ladki ko badboo nahi aani chahiye.
Sh: Suno suno, ek kaam karna, jaab ladki se baat karo na, tab yeh ek sawal zaroor puchna.
Ke: Kaunsa?
Sh: "Aapko khaana banana aata hain ji?"
K: Abbe teri to, tum teeno mujhe help karne aye ho ya tang karne
Ke, Sh & M: Tang karne

Kartik throws a pillow at them, which they dodge.

K: Chup rahoge sab, koi idea toh nahi de rahe ki kaise cancel karu yeh rishta aur upar se irritate bhi kar rahe ho.
Ke: Bhai, koi nahi, ladki se mil lo, thodi na pehle hi pasand aa jayenge aap, I mean aap bahut handsome ho but sunna hain ladki kaafi simple hain toh aise nahi pasand kar legi aapko.
M: Ha bhai, mujhe toh lagta hain ki aapko maana karne ki zaroorat hi nahi hain, voh khud kar legi.
K: Voh karde toh thik hi hain, varna mujhe iss rishte mein vaise bhi koi interest nahi hain.
Sh: Aur agar usne mana nahi kiya toh?
K: Toh socho kuch
Sh: Hum kya aapke personal problem solving assistants hain, jo aapke har problem ke solution ke liye plan soche, arre kar lo na shaadi kya hi ho jayega.
Ke: Arre thik hi hain na, 24 years mein kaun shaadi karta hain, bhai thik hi hain, at least 2 saal toh wait kar hi lena chahiye.
K: Dekha yeh hain meri behen, tum dono ki tarah nahi jo ulta mere hi khilaf ho jati hain.
M: Hawww bhai, aap humare saare ehsan bhul gaye, Shubhuu, bhai bhai na raha...
Sh: Behen behen ka ho gaya...
M: Eww, kya ghatiya rhyme kiya hain, kuch acha bol deta
Sh: Mai--
Su: Bacho chalo, kitne der aur
Ke: Haa Maa Aye
K: Chalo abb bandaro ki sena, warna sabse daat padegi, aur ha, koi last minute plan soch lena, mera toh mind hi blank ho gaya hain, agar ladki ne galti se bhi haa bol di na toh main maar jaunga
M: Koi nahi bhai, aap toh humme apna nahi samajhte, lekin hum aapko dhoka nahi denge, kuch soch lenge

Everyone settles in their cars to go to the girl's house.

On the other hand while this all was happening, in Singhania Sadan:

Gayu & Akshara were helping Naira ke ready with a sari.

G: Maami, Naira sari mein kitni pretty lag rahi hain na, Naira tujhe sari na aur pehen ni chahiye.

Naira's POV

Mujhe sari se koi problem nahi hain Gayu di, lekin sari jiss reason se pehen rahi hoon na usse problem hain, kyunki yeh rishta kisi bhi halat mein nahi jud sakta. Kabse arranged marriage ke stereotypes ke bahane de rahi thi, phir bhi rishta toh dekhna pad hi raha hain na, agar galti se ladke ko main pasand aa gayi toh, nahi nahi, main toh seedha bata dungi ki mujhe iss rishte mein koi interest nahi hain... ha yehi sahi hain.

POV ends

A: Naira, Gayu kuch bol rahi hain, reply toh do
N: Ha... ha... sari bahut achi hain
G: Achi nahi bahut achi, aur sari se bhi zyada achi toh meri behen hain
N: Thank you Gayu di
A: Sach kaha Gayu, bahut pyaari lag rahi hain meri baachi.
N: Mumma emotional mat ho jana, abb main tayar ho gayi na, baaki Gayu di kar degi aap jao
G: Haa maami, main Naira ko tayar karke neeche le aaungi.

Akshara leaves, while Gayu continues to help Naira.

G: Naira, tu thik hain na, I mean mujhe pata hain bahut stress main hain, but zyada tension mat le, yeh pehla hi toh rishta hain, aur pehla rishta kabhi final nahi hota, toh tujhe koi problem nahi hogi.
N: I hope Gayu di, agar ladka haa bhi karega na, toh main usse seedha keh dungi ki main nahi kar sakti aur voh khud hi na keh de.
G: Hmm, lekin tujhe sabko phir tere shaadi na karne ka real reason bata dena chahiye.
N: Gayu di batane toh vali thi, abb beech mein yeh rishta aa gaya main kya karu, abb sabke jane ke baad aaj hi bata dungi.
G: Hmmm...

They continue to get ready while waiting for the ladke wale toh come.

After some time, everyone from Goenkas but Kartik, Keerti, Shubham & Mansi's car doesn't arrive as they had a tire puncture. They will be here in about 15 mins, so the elders decide to go in and start meeting each other. Everyone greets each other and after the formal things, everyone is sitting down and talking.

M: Naitik ji, bacho ko thoda late ho jayega, lekin hum soch rahe the ki Naira beta se hum ek baar mil le, Kartik aur bache toh piche aa hi rahe hain.
N: Ji bilkul, Naira tayar hi hain... Gayu beta jao Naira ko le aao.
G: Ji Maamaji

Gayu gets Naira down, and she greets everyone. After having a conversation with everyone, while talking, juice falls on Naira's sari so she goes up with Gayu to clean it. Just then Kartik and the others come.

D: Yeh lijiye aa gaya humara Kittu

Kartik greets everyone and also has a conversation. Everyone suggests on the girl and boy to meet, so as Naira was in her room cleaning her sari, Naitik suggested that Naksh takes Kartik to Naira's room, so that they both could talk there only. No one has a problem so Naksh and Kartik walk to Naira's room. As they knock on the door, Gayu opens the door and gets shocked seeing Kartik there, and in return Kartik was also shocked, but both controlled their expressions as Naksh was standing there. As Naksh was about to say something, he got a call, so he told Gayu to introduce Kartik to Naira and then let them talk here only. He walks away to attend his call, while Gayu tells Kartik to come inside and closes the door behind.

N: Gayu di, kaun hain
G: Tu khud hi dekh le

Naira turns around to see who came in and gets shocked seeing Kartik, her husband standing in front of her. She has lots of emotions in herself but mostly she is happy to see her Kartik standing in front of her. As soon as both realise that they were in front of each other, they hug each other tightly as if there was no tomorrow. After staying in each other's arms for a long time, they break the hug and Kartik kisses Naira's forehead.

G: Ahem Ahem, guys main yaheen hoon

They realise that Gayu was there so stand a bit properly.

N: Kartik tum yahan kaise aye, kisi ne dekha toh nahi na.
G: Exactly Kartik, ek min, Naksh bhai ne kaha Kartik ki Naira se baat karwa do, kahi jo ladka Naira ko dekhne aane wala tha, voh Kartik hi toh nahi
K: What, yaani jo ladki main dekhne aya voh Naira hain
N: Thank god, main toh itni tension main thi na, ki iss rishte ke liye mana kaise karu, but luckily ladka toh Kartik hi nikla.
K: Ha sachme, main toh 'ladki ko shaadi ke liye maane karne ke 100 tarike' tak padh ke aya tha.
N: Aur agar unn 100 tariko mein se kuch bhi kaam nahi karta toh?
K: Toh kya, ladki toh tum hi ho na, ha karti toh bhi apni biwi se hi shaadi karne wala tha.
N: Aur agar meri jagah pe koi aur hoti toh?
K: Toh main kuch bhi kar leta but usse shaadi nahi karta, kyunki meri ek hi wife hain, meri jaan, meri Naira.
N: Sachi
K: Hmm
G: Lovebirds, phirse shuru ho gaye, abhi yeh sochu jo situation hain, usse solve kaise kare. Kaash maine tum dono ko sabko batane se roka hi na hota.

FLASHBACK:

Kartik & Naira had met in Delhi, where Kartik was a chief guest at a dance competition and Naira was a contestant. Kartik had fallen for Naira the second he had seen her performing and in fact winning that competition. They both were in Delhi for a long period of time, Kartik due to work and Naira due to dance/academy work, and kismat always made them meet each other, during which they both had become good friends. After bonding so well, they had fallen for each other. Kartik expressed his feelings for Naira, in a dinner they had gone for, to which Naira also happily responded. After being madly in love with each other, things were going all fine, until Naira fell very sick. After a few medical reports, the doctor informed them that Naira had cancer last stage and she won't be able to survive much more. Kartik & Naira were both very hurt and broken, but Naira wanted that if she had less time then she wanted to die as Naira Kartik Goenka. Kartik respected her wish and they both had got married in a temple. The next day after marriage, they had got a call from the doctor informing them that there had been a reports swap between Naira & Naina, Naira was all fine and it was only some normal weakness due to stress. Even though this was all just a mistake, at the end Kartik & Naira had already become husband and wife, from heart, soul, law and rituals. They had decided to go back to Udaipur and inform their families about whatever had happened with them, and hoped their families would understand their situation. Before they could tell their families, Gayu had found out about this and adviced them to individually talk with their parents, and then later allow the families to meet each other. When Naira had gone to talk with Naitik, she had overheard him and Akshara talking with a friend that if my daughter came home telling me she was in love with someone or had married someone, I would break all my relations with her. She was very scared of losing her most precious bond. with her father, which is why she stopped Kartik and decided to first discuss also taking help from Gayu. In the discussion, Gayu had convinced them to keep their marriage a secret and wait for sometime before telling everyone, otherwise Naitik would get very angry at Naira for what had happened. Kartik & Naira kept meeting secretly and enjoying their married life, but still had the guilt of hiding everything from their parents, only so that they don't ruin many relations for one relation.

FLASHBACK ENDS

N: Gayu di, humne sab issiliye chupaya kyunki hum jante the humari families humare aise chup ke shaadi karne wali baat ko nahi samjhenge, aur upar se papa ne bhi kaha tha ki agar unki beti aise karti toh voh kabhi usse accept nahi karte, aur main vohi karke papa ko hurt nahi kar sakti thi.
K: Naira humne kuch galat nahi kiya hain, unki khushi ke liye thodi der tak sirf baat ko chupaya hain, at least iss baat se koi hurt toh nahi hua, in fact ulta sabko hurt hone se bachaya hain humne.
G: Baat toh sahi hain
N: Ha lekin abb?
G: Abb jaa ke shaadi ke liye ha keh do.
K: Kya?
G: Ha, agar shaadi ke liye haa keh do ge toh in a way, tum dono ka guilt bhi kaam ho jayega, sabke samne shaadi bhi ho jayegi aur phir sabko batane mein asani ho jayegi, kyunki tab kisi ko tum dono ke saath hone se problem nahi hoga.
N: Ha thik toh hain lekin, yeh sahi hoga
K: Jaan, sahi hi hain, isse se sachme sab humme accept bhi kar lenge aur sach batane mein asani hogi.
N: Thik hain toh phir.
