It was Elena's 6th birthday- she had been waiting for this day for a while now and finally the day had come. Once she awoke from her peaceful slumber, she instantly rushed to get ready; she couldn't wait to get downstairs and open her presents.

Entering the living room, she greeted her parents who were waiting for her. "Elena!" Her mother, Agetha exclaimed, clearly hiding something.
"Good morning mother, father" she replied calmly.

"We have surprise for you..." her father said. With these words he pulled out a small, spruce chest (about the size of a tissue box) from behind his back. He passed it to Elena. "Happy birthday!" Her parents both announced in synchronization.
"Wow, thank you!" She yelled taking the wooden box from her fathers hands.

As the box was opened by Elena, she gasped at what it contained: a beautiful, angel-like doll.
