Laksh stands in front of his house gate scared to enter.
" I am strongly having an instinct that there's a girl inside...Of course except Uttara and Bhabhi! Should I run back?? No yaar Laksh! Just face it! Yes my boy!! Be strong! Be courageous! Woh Ladki tujhe khaa nhi jaayegi!!! Oh god! Let's just move in!! ThinK of your parents and all memories at each step you make to enter!!!"
He takes a deep breathe and starts taking steps forward.

Ist step - " Laksh your family!"

IInd step - " Laksh your house!"

IIIrd step- " Laksh your room and the memories attached to it!"

He takes 3 steps forward and smiles patting his back for his bravery.

But the next instant his optimistic approaches get replaced by fear once again.

Ist step back:- " Marriage!"

IInd step back:- " Love , pyaar, ishq and shit!"

IIIrd step back :- " Pressure of Naukri-Chakri.."

IV step back:- " Bacche!!"

V step back:- " Wrinkles because of tension.!!"

VI step back:- " Bhaiya to Uncle!"

And with few more he gets out of the main gate even....The watchman looks at him amused. But Laksh was expressionless because of the thoughts running in his mind or rather say a horror movie.

He again gets lost in his thoughts. He looks towards watchman who is looking him keenly as if doing some research.
He gives his sudden 'oh not so lovely' fake smile and just runs to barge into his home to see her mom standing with the Aarthi thaali already.

Her eyes becomes teary seeing her son after so long who has a well built physique and has got manly features now. She is proud as his son is at the peaks of good looks.
He too smiles seeing her mother and does that 'Shahrukh Khan waala move' of moving his index finger looking towards Annapoorna. She does his Aarthi.

Jee chahta hai gale se Laga loon
Palkon mein rakh loon main,
Nazar mein chupa loon..
Pass hai door hai...
Itne Majboor hain....Aaaa aaa aaa

She puts Tilak on his forehead. And hugs him. While DP is witnessing the drama going in between the mother and son. He is confused whether to laugh rolling on the floor holding his tummy or should cry as they were just too bad...Like too bad...
He rolls his eyes controlling his anxiety and just murmurs..

" Even worse than Overacting!"

Laksh continues the drama.

"Maa how did you get to know that I am coming!"

To this Ap is about to reply when DP decides to cut the drama or he'll Just puke.

"I know we've got old but it doesn't mean that we will forget things the next day. You only called us telling about your return. Moreover, the guard phoned us saying that a strange stupid boy is standing outside who is marching front and back..So your mom got to know that this idiot can only be Laksh!"

Annapoorna glares Dp and he just shrugs his shoulder. Laksh replies..

"What's your problem dad! How much we were enjoying our mother son emotional moment! You ruined it completely!"

"I just don't know why you both are so obsessed with this scene...Even she used to do this when you returned from school, tuitions or after playing. She just stands with this Aarti ki Thaali!! If possible, I know her that if you'll come out of the washroom she can do this at that tym too! And then you ask (mimicking) Maa how did you get to know that I am coming? And she'll reply -- Woh I heard the sound of flush!! Lol!"

Laksh was stuffing his laughter while Ap was very much embarrassed. There was a silence in between them and they later burst into laughter. Laksh hugs his dad and he carresses his hairs.

" I missed you Dad!"

"I missed you too bete!"

Ap smiles seeing them.

"Are you excited for the surprise!!?" Asks Ap smiling dreamily.

Laksh at once gets nervous. The wide smile immediately goes away.

" Annapoorna, let's call them yaar!"

With each passing second, his future seemed to get dark... darker...And ---

A familiar voice takes him out of his land.

" Hey champ! What's up!!"

His long lost smile comes back.

"Buddy??" He murmurs and looks towards the source of voice to find a man of his father's age standing. He was smiling.

He gets ecstatic to see the man in front of him and just goes hugging him tyt.

"Shekhar Papa !!!! Oh My God! This is the best surprise maa!!"

They break the hug and he blesses him.

" Beta! A surprise is still there!!"

And his smile again fades away.
Shekhar notices this and laughs...He says..

"Don't get afraid ! I am 200% sure that you'll like it!"

He nods.

Ap calls..

" Please come! He came."

A chirpy voice is heard.

"He came?? OMG!!!"

And the person comes running down the stairs....Till Laksh and hugs him tight...Very tight...

Laksh is shocked while everyone are smiling.

She excitedly say..
"Chimpu the Chimpanzee.... eeeee!!! I missed you so so so so much!!!"

Just then the name she took makes him grin wider and he too holds her reciprocating the hug. He too hugs her tight and says..

"Chipli....The Chipkali....wooaaaah!!! Ma!! What a surprise yaar!!"

And he lifts the girl in the same position twirling her. Elders smile seeing their bond and they leave from their giving them time.

They break their hug and look at each other. Girl's face is revealed to be Ragini...

"You have turned into a really beautiful girl Chipli.." He says keeping his hand at her cheek.

"And you are killing it with your looks..I cant believe that you are my chimpu!"

"But I am."

"No doubt."

Both chuckle and hug each other again.

"I missed you so much!" Saying this Ragini kisses her cheek.

"What yaar Ragini! You'll never change! How many times I have to tell you not to do such things.."

"You get engaged or bring your wife, I swear I'll never even see you!! But its never gonna happen so I am not gonna stop." With this she kisses her other cheek. This time he smiles.

He puts his arm on her shoulder while she side hugs him by wrapping her.arm around his waste and they both go to the terrace to talk with each other...

All elders smile looking at these lovely best friends.

Ap says:- " Its not been an hour when he has reached but see jahan Ragini wahan Laksh!"

Dp says:- " They look like made for each other."

Shekhar says:- " 10 years....After these many years they are meeting so they must be special for each other."

All smile.

On the terrace....

"Hahahaha....Hahahahahah...Hahahahahaha.... Seriously..You were afraid because you thought you'll get married...Lucky yaar!!!"

"I know...I was just thinking how will I handle that girl!"

"Just like you are handling me!"

"Noo! You are different Ragini...You are someone special to me...Like except Bhabhi and Uttara, you are the only one girl whom I can tolerate more than 2 hours. I feel free around you...cuz I know you wont fall in love with me nor I'll. Its just I am comfortable with you!!"

"Awwwww my cute boy!!! Haha!"
And she hugs her but deep inside she was not fully happy with his words.
He hugs her back.

"Soo whats your plan?? You have done all the studies and as you say you are aiming to be a film director...Then how you're gonna start!"

"I have got an offer to be an assisstant director in the movie and I'm joining in a week, wait rehne hi de...I dont wanna tell you or you'll again start with your Anti Love dialogues or you'll mock me!"

"Yaar bta de na....Pls tell!!"

"Promise you wont do anything of those!"

"Haan haan!! Ab plz !"

"Hmmmm...the movie is Humara Dil Aapke Paas Hai!"

"Phduuu huuuu hrruuu!! Sorry yaar but Hahahahahahaha!!!!! Tera Dil toh tere paas hi hai na..like its circulating blood in your body!! Whats wrong with the director man! What the hell! This title is just!!! Lol!!Hahahahahaaha! Illogical!"

He starts laughing hard. But Ragini's rxn gets fuming. He looks towards her and immediately closes his open mouth. He murmurs a sorry and runs from there.

"Arrrggh!! Laakssh!! You promised me idiot! I'll not leave you!!! Just stop once!"

"Na! Na! The lady Don is behind me and you say to stop! I don't wanna die this early!"

" Just Shut up!"

They pass from the area where mumma papa log were sitting.

Ap says:- " It's been just an hour and they already started fighting."

Dp says:- " They are made to kill each other!"

Shekhar says:- " After 10 years they are meeting....Ek dusre ke khoon ke pyaase jo hue padhe the!"
( They are meeting after 10 yrs to drink each other's blood.)

They all sigh.

(Note the change in sentences.😂😂 Best friends ke saath yehi hota h...)

Here Laksh comes and climbs over his bed while Ragini locks his door. She smirks and moves towards him.

"Now say?"

"I was just kidding yaar!"

"Na! Na! Na!"

"Haan! Haan! Haan!"

"Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na !!!"

" Haan haan haan haan haan !!"

" No"

"Yes!"

"Yes!"

"No!"

"See! Now toh you also said No!"

"Huh?"

"Bhut bol rhe the na Mr. Laksh Maheshwari!!"

"Sorry Chipli! "

But she takes the pillow and too climbs over the bed and starts hitting him. He too grabs one and hits her. This way they hit each other jab tak pillows pillows nhi rhe. All the feather material inside them came out and scattered here and there. But they were continuously laughing and enjoying. When the get tired they together fall on the bed lieing and looking each other burst into laughter.

"You're still a kiddo!"

"Bacche ke saath Baccha bankar hi rehna padhta hai!"
{We have to act kiddishly around kids!?}

"Really?"

"Haan!"

And they again laugh. While laughing when they slept they didn't come to know.

Like this 3 days pass, Ragini was acting like a pure Bollywood romance obsessed and even tried some on Laksh!

Once,

"Laksh listen! Come here!"

"Hmmm! Bolo!"

"Kuch Kuch Hota Hai Laksh, Tum nhi Samjhoge!"
And he replied...

"Then do consult a doctor! Maybe usse samajh aa jaye..He will understand!"

Laksh and Ragini were now getting irritated by each other. She just used to talk about prince charming and all while he always mocked of love which irked her.
And this, one day led to their big argument....A serious one...

"Every heart has feelings...I bet someday you'll surely fall in love!"

"Love love love love!!! The day you've come here you are just bickering nonsense Ragini and you are eating my brain!! Why are you being a disturbance in my life!"

It actually hurted her.

"I was just telling you a matter of fact. But if you think I am a disturbance in your peaceful life then I won't even talk to you from now!"

"Ya please!"

And she went into her room. She was angry on him.
This way a week passed and they didn't talk. Elders were feeling bad about them. But they didn't even share looks.

"No Maa! I won't go to his room. I am a disturbance for him."

"No Papa! I won't talk to her. Cuz she has one topic only and she knows that I don't like to talk about it! Still!"

Ragini joined the work and all day Laksh used to get bored cuz his father hasn't proposed him to join work now as he has months to get the age. He felt bored at home.

But ego problem...

He was missing her badly...but ego problem.

Even she was missing him too...but ego problem.
