They had all been flying for a while and Citrus was obviously getting tired. Dragonfruit was a swell though he was trying to hide it and doing a pretty goof job. Evergreen only could see this because she was his sister. Citrus began struggling to keep up.
"Are you okay Citrus?" Lillyblossum slowed down to make sure she was okay.
"I'm....Fine *huff* just a bit *huff* tired" She replied.

By this point in the flight the dragons found themselves flying past a large mountain. Evergreen checked the map. Jade Mountain. It looked like there were caves inside of it. Hang on! That's a perfect resting spot!

"Guys! We're going to have to land over there to rest for a bit" She called out to the other 3 dragons. They all angled there wings and started descending towards a cave on the side of the mountain.

They landed one by one with Citrus half-crashing behind them all. Dragonfruit walked over to the cave wall and slumped down. He closed his eyes, probably about to fall asleep. Citrus staggered over to him, taking a million deep breaths then sitting beside him. Evergreen went to the opposite side of the cave to try practice in private. She concentrated hard on a small stone in front of her. She pointed her talon towards it then aimed upwards. The stone followed.

"Wow!" a voice said from behind her. Startled, she jumped and lost concentration. The rock dropped onto the ground. Evergreen turned to see the stupid Rainwing standing behind her.
"Did you just make that rock float?" She asked. Evergreen face-taloned.
"Mind your own buisiness"
"But i wanted to talk to you. I haven't had a proper chat with you." Evergreen was surprised. Why would some random dragon she barely knew what to have a proper talk with her? A propper talk. Why would anything she had to say concern Lilyblossum. They sat in silence for a while.

You're an interesting Rainwing, or whatever kind of dragon you are. You don't seem to be able to change the colours of many of your scales. And your mainly green. A nice shade of green. Much like someone I once knew." Lillyblossum shifted her gaze from the stone in front of Evergreen to her talons. Her scales shifted a pale colour of slightly greyish blue. Her face contorted revealing an emotion this dragon had never worn before.

"Thanks...Who was this dragon you knew?" Evergreen asked.
"He came from somewhere else. Not in Phyrria...He was kind a funny and very important to me. We spent a lot of time together then... I lost him." She replied.
"Anyways you siblings are looking well rested so we should be able to leave soon and get going right?" She walked away.

What is this feeling? I've never felt like this towards another dragon before. Not even Dragonfruit or Citrus. I've felt love, anger, hate, sadness, concern but what is this? Some type of sympathy? Why do I care at all about a stupid random dragon? Why? WHY?

Evergreen was startled by a talon on her shoulder.
"Should we go now sis? Citrus is full of energy again."
"Sure..."

The four flapped their wings and once again set out, flying towards the presumed direction of the Kingdom Of Sand and Burn's house.

Wait no. The map says 'Burn's Stronghold'. Okay I'll remember that.
