Naina was standing in balcony. A coffe cup in her hand was not enough to make her nerves calm. That coffee was igniting her pain and anger much more in place of calming her down. That bastard also used to make delicious coffee....and his sucking mouth was bitter then poison. How could he directly ask about her parents and that too in a suspecting tone? He portrayed her as an orphan! What an insane crazy bastard! And he was her husband. She so badly wanted to kill him. How could he point out the thing so easily which had been a dreading truth for her since eternity? She wanted to let the door of dams open and flow the salty waters from her eyes. Shit. She cant do that.......she was a brave person after all...

When raj left that comment on her parents, she was beyond surprised and not to say shocked. How could he utter that damn word for her? Orphan? Was she orphan.....just because she was A Sareen and her father was Ahalawat? There could other reasons be. He should have used his mind before leaving his tongue loose.

She neglected him since then.

Suddenly she found her coffee total wreck. She threw the cup......whike staring at nothing.

Rajveer was trying to think the ways in which he could monify his wife. Single wife..... He was on the roof teying to contact Nav...and as usual...On high time, nav had left for Delhi...saying an emergency! Well..that was just for having a fondue night with Shal. He was well aware. Naveen and he were diaper friends. He coukd guess his intentions very well. But here his main problem wasnt his intentions. Naina wasnt talking with him...infact she was missing all the chances of having a face off too. Gosh! Rajveer was curious and his single guess gave him
Sufficient amount of misery. Why did he open his mouth for asking a silly question? He should have kept quiet. But....at the same time, naveen and Naina were hiding that secret. Secret about their identities. It wasnt like that Raj was offended or something. He just wanted to know why she was always shushy about her surname. May be they were not real siblings. They didnt have any blood relation. And this suspect cost him his happy days

Merries were ended. He was happy while her being engulfed in work all day. He was happy haviing responsibility of her care. He was all comfortable with her bossing him around. But that day he just without any intention made her weeping.

Naina was a tough soul...she never let anyone see her tears. But he had heard her sighs in bathroom.

He really made a mistake and now only Nav could help him in correcting it.

He wanted to end this phase of their relationship. When everything was going smoothly he himself caused the easygoing path to break and they were knocked off. He made her angry..that was not a big deal. He had a huge mouth and all time he used to utter shit. But Naina was habitual because she knew that he was an idiot!

Raj smiled remembering a night when she had swore not to let him touch her and next moment she had done something unexpected.

'If you again try to read aloud that line, I swear shekhawat you'll repent to your death.'

''This is the basic of whole thing. 'He found her wet enough to make love.' What will you expect in a romantic novel? They'll make love if they love each other. God! You cant stop them.''

'I am not interested in physical thing. Why are you telling this shit to me?'

'Because you're my wife.'

'The most unfortuante wife.'

Raj approached her. She was sitting on the chair with both legs over one side of chair.... Funny position though.

'Look. I tell you always what I want to. We're together no matter what. So...please listen whatever I say.'

'Yep..your so called shit. I need a tank full of holy water. I've to wash my ear after talking you.'

'Not funny. Its exaggerating.'

'Rofl. Its truth. And now I find your truth not worth of puking. I think...My ears have been habitual of your shit.'

'Stop it. Now listen this...I've got a body you can excercise. Lets get up and mind the ride..'

'Where you listen this shit?'

'Nicol shcrodinger...She is hot. You know I think you're also hot but you always push me to the edge and I find you average then. Because I have to console myself.'

'Was this flattering?'

'Leave this. Its has been almost four months. Can I kiss you?'

'Step miles away from me. You always want to do this!'

'Come on Naina..Not a big deal. If you cant kiss me, just place your lips on mine. Rest I'll handle.'

'No way in heaven I'll kiss you.'

'Please...I am doing all the chores which you told me to do. Please.'

'Go away. I gotta go. Move aside.'

'Naina please..just a single kiss. I deserve this.'

'Ass.'

'Yeah. Your is sexy enough to make me swallow my desires and let them digest in my intestines.'

Naina kept mum. She stared at him.

And then...

She pecked his left cheek.

'Just because your food and care keep me healthy, it doesnt mean I'll get STD by placing my holy lips on yours.'

'Its torture. You cant leave after just touching my cheek...that too one cheek. No naina....Naina..Stop..Please listen... ohh god.. this woman'll kill me one day making my desires overflow .'

Naina went away after pecking him. He was shouting behind her to kiss him on lips. She never listened and ran to office laughing. Those days were soothing....Her laugh was injection of liveliness and joy in his so bore and not responding life. He was hapoy if she was.

But now....

He ruined it.

RING..

naveen was calling her. He sighed. Thank god. Atleast he listened his pleads.

'Really? Ohh god! I can never imagine you being this much stupid? Are you out of your mind? You just spoke tgat word! Really? No way, raj. She never lets anyone see through her heart. She isnt open to others. She....You made things worse. She didnt divorce you despite you being a reputed philander. And now you hurt her. I cant help you.. and if I could, I still would have been showed you a big no. You're a nutcase. Who spoke these tyoe of words? You're married for god's sake. Watch your words. And what was your curiousity? You'd have asked her in place of pointing it out. And you know what-'

' can I mend things?' After knowing whole fiasco,.Naveen started ranting...which was his habbit ofcoarse.

'I dont think so. When she learnt the things, she left us. For almost five years, she was away from us. This matter is so touchy to her. And you just crossed a line here. I can say only- talk her....if she wishes. And may you rest in peace. I dont know how you'll live after her anger being leashed out on you!'

This was just......terrifying. Did he really crossed a line? Only Naina could tell.

*****
For four days, Naina was listening his pleads, his sorries. She wasnt in mood to listen or seen him. It wasnt like he had done huge or unforgiveable sin....he just unfolded her hidden wounds. She had seen a lot and heard a lot. His single statement made her remeber those things again from which she was running away. He was sorry, she got that.......but she was hurt, perhaps he didnt get it. Sentimental maturity is not same in everyone. She was not emotionally tough. She used to keep secrets in her hearts..

Raj was right. Secrets in heart are always making things worse. She had gotten that. Just becuase she wanted to keep her life matters to her only, she became a sensitive person to deal with. And her parents were the string which was loosely bound and the most delicate one.

She didnt want to cry or shed tears but......again being touched on the right corner of wound made her eye lashes release the boud water amount.

She heard him coming into their bedroom. She left for bathroom.

'Naina..I am.sorry. please forgive me. I always talk nonsense..you listen..please Naina.this time..give me a chance. I was unaware of your misery. Please.'

'Naina..come out of bathroom. Everyday you arent going to spend rest of night there. Come out..please. open the door. Nainaa'

'God! Just speak up for god's sake. Open that damn door.'

'I am sorry. Doesnt it mean anything? I am here crying for your forgiveness. You cant shut yourself from others. Open that door and come out. I've said all the wrong things but atkeast make things clear. And if you dont want.. Still come out.'

'This is enough Naina. I just said something which was not right. Now I am apologising. Why are you making it a big deal?'

She was ignoring him. She needed time. But Raj was...Raj. he again uttered wrong stuff..

She opened the door.

'Yeah. Thats not a big deal for you because you're legal child of your parents. But its a big deal for me because ....Because I was a child out of wedlock. I was illegal child because my parents had unfair relation. Thats a big deal for me. My biological mother refused to accept me because I was not suiting her bright carrer. Now thats surely a big deal for me. You cant take it as I use to. I suffered because of this. And you marked me as a child without parents. I could be without mother...but My father was always with me. He'll be. And....I dont need your apologies. Keep them.'

She shut the door on his face.

His sentence didnt hurt her. His audacity did. She had kept things hidden but she could reveal them. His way of asking wasnt right.
