Fullmetal alchemist was the first anime I ever watched and I still love it but one thing I will never understand is why Riza and Roy along with Edward and Winery weren't technically put together in the series as an official couple. I mean there were some moments but there was nothing real if you know what I mean. (No dirty thoughts included)  I feel like Mei and Al were shipped more than the other two couples in the small time they were together. I think they're cute but it's kind of awkward when he's in a suit of armor and Mei is still a little girl.
     Another couple that didn't get together is Ling and Lan Fan. I mean, what's up with that! Anyways, comment if you think any of these (or ones I didn't mention) should've been put together in the actual series.
