Hello all!

Well, I'm a little late to celebrate this occasion. More like 14 days late, lol.

Anyway, I'd like to share a little story with you.

KatarinaTheSaiyan's 2 years on Wattpad:The Story

It was a beautiful day on Sept 6th, 2015, a day I somehow forgot. It was the day I opened my Wattpad. I opened this account after my friend killjoykristen , asked if I wanted to join her on this site. So I made this very account that day.

Keep this in mind, I only was writing Fanfics for only 2 years at the time. My first fanfic was non-published Mario Galaxy/DBZ/Winx Club combination called "The Super Mario Galaxy Summer Series" It had 2 books in the Summer season and one winter one that hasn't been written all the way.

I was reading Mario fanfics first and that's when I met my first Wattpad friend, X-SuperGenesis-X. Introducing me to really well written fanfics.

Anyway, at the time,I didn't really want release my OC (Akari/Katarina) just yet out in the world.  So I decided I should write a fanfic I was reading a lot at the time, Labyrith Fanfic.

Labyrinth (1986), the movie starring the late and great David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly. A beautiful movie full of fantasy and music. That's when Roselea, my Labyrinth OC, was released. My first published book, Labyrinth: The Untold Story.

After some reads later, I saw how unpopular this fanfic was. So I decided that it was time to write a fanfic that had a bigger fanbase, Dragon Ball Z.

This was when Akari/Katarina appeared in my writing and became quite a character. A strong-willed female Super Saiyan that became a beloved character. Her humor made people laugh, her thoughts shared, and even her bad times made people sad.

She became such a big part of fans as well as me. She was that character that was my creation, my child, a character that finally had purpose and people liked the character.

This filled me with utter delight, many people reading, voting, and commenting. People took a chance on my book, and I was so greatful to them. I was so blessed to have all of these readers and followers at that time.

Then, I was hit with a ton of bricks. I was hit with a hate comment that made me almost quit Wattpad all together. They called my story crap, a smoldering pile of Sh*t.

This really hit me hard. I started questioning my story, Wattpad, and if I should be here on this website. I almost hit that delete button on The Story of Katarina: The Saiyan Girl and just walk away from Wattpad all together.

Then, readers like Espeon804, had told me not to give up, to not have the haters win. This made me think clearly about being on Wattpad. Was I going to give up or was I going to go on and finish that book.

As you could see, I did finish that book, eventually I finished it and it recieves love even today.

After that book, I decided to make books that were original, but they didn't really receive that much attention and a lot of writer's block happened. It was then time for Katarina/Akari to shine in a new book, Dragon Ball: Next Generation, a non-cannon book that had themes from Dragon Ball GT. That book also received lots of love and praise and a eventually was later revealed that it was non-cannon because of the newest DBZ movies and The series Dragon Ball Super airing in Japan.

In that particular time, I was waiting for the Dub. So I started writing more Labyrinth Fanfics, since they started to gain popularity and my love for Labyrinth grew with it. Books like Labyrinth 2: The Wrath of The Fire King and Labyrinth 3: Sarah's Return became part of my expanding series that didn't take as long as DBZ to complete.

After those books came out, I met a friend named ArubellaDiAngelo or Labyrinth. She was a Labyrinth Fanfic writer like I was. After she was done with a book of her's, I asked her if she would write a book with me that would combine both of our fanfic universes. And that was the creation of Labyrinth: The Entanglement of Fate. Which is still being written to this day.

After that book came into existence I saw many many drawing books from talented Artists like MamaBearTheGreat, TheVelveteenChibi, and so many others. So I started my own drawing book of all my art as well as the addition of my first wetmark, signature, and art contests. I would do art contests from time to time, seeing if my art would ever win and well... I haven't won yet, but I'm hoping to someday.

Then I started writing another bigger fanfiction, a Mario Bros. Fanfic titled Mario Bros. Real Life, an ongoing book that has been lost in writer's block sometimes.

Even after that I started doing more and more on here. Having this random book you are reading at this very moment, a concept art book because I started doing concept art for my friend Makewarnotpeace, and even making another one shots book with my OC, Jacklyn, with the God of Mischief himself, Loki.

So I guess what I'm trying to point out is the journey it took for me to get here, and I couldn't do any of it without each and every one of you. All of you who reached out to me, followed me, commented on a story, and even others who befriended me on this website make me who I am today possible. You all gave me that reason to stay and write and come here to talk to you as well as help any who have asked for my help. All of you matter to me, even all the people I didn't tag here. You all impacted me so much these past two years. You all gave my Wattpadding purpose.

So I'd like to dedicate this chapter to all of my followers, readers, and friends who have helped me along the way.

May we have many more Wattpadavercery celebrations like these in the future.
