The Secret life of Jack pt. 2

Jack stumbled towards the space behind the stove, the place he'd hidden the entryway to his home.
His blue eyes were blown wide with panic, heart speeding up so much his heartbeat felt nonexistant.
He'd been spotted. And even worse the giant was getting closer if the ground shaking wasn't evident enough.

The irishman was on the verge of tears. He'd have to leave. Tonight.
No way around it. It was the only way to keep himself safe.

But he couldn't think of that now. He just had to focus on getting to the gap between the wall and the stove.
He was almost there with the giant right on his heels.
He was free. He lunged for the space, home mere inches away!
SMACK
Jack ran into a hard surface, causing him to fall back with a shout. Dazed, he scrambled away from whatever he had rammed into before he was scooped up in a giant fist.

He thrashed, his fear of being squashed like in all the stories he'd been told when he was but a lad overpowering his fear of falling from such a large height.

"Let go of me ye bastard!" Jack screamed, doing his best to bite at the giant hand with how he'd been grabbed.
His arms were restricted and only half his torso was exposed, making it hard to bend over to bite the humans skin.

If anything, his thrashing and screaming made the humans hold tighten ever so slightly.
Jack was brought to eye level, green hair hanging in his face as icy blue met warm brown.
The borrower went rigid, breath catching in his throat as the human stared in awe.
His voice was soft as he spoke, "wow you're so tiny..!" The raven haired man beamed, backing up to sit on top of the island.
Jack gulped, pale faced and wide eyed as he tried to shrink even more.
He'd broken the most important rule in borrowing. What would his dad think? What would his ma think?

"Don't be scared, I promise I won't hurt you." The human quietly proposed, gaze traveling every inch of Jack that was visible.

"C-C-Can you put me down then..?" Jack stuttered out, loud enough for the human to hear.

The Giants brows raised, "What accent is that?"
He seemed to completely ignore the request, but he did bring his other hand up to cup the other so he wouldn't be in trapped in his fist.

Jack rubbed his sides, knowing he'd have bruises tomorrow as he sat in the humans hand. Where else could he go? He was too high up to jump, a fall from this height would surely kill him, and if not that then it'd hurt like a son of a bitch.

Jack gulped, too caught up in his thoughts to notice the slight shift in muscle. He stiffened when he felt something rub his back, presumably the humans finger. "Hey, calm down ok? I promised I wouldn't hurt you." The human said, offering a smile that, on a normal scale, would have been comforting. But at the scale the two were at, it made Jacks already pale complexion to worsen.

Stopping there because I dunno where you go from there
