You and Castiel were in bed, watching TV. His chisels features making shadows dance across his face. You smiled at him and held onto his hand intertwining your fingers.

"I love you." He looked over at you and smiled.

"I love you too."

You smiled and your eyes began to drop. Cas looked over at you again and saw that you sleep. He smiled. He heard the baby crying and he ran over, hoping to stop it from crying before it could wake you up.

"Shhh, shhh, okay okay, shhh, Daddy's here." Cas picked up the baby and cradled it close. "Shhh baby, it's alright, Daddy will protect you." Cas looked at the baby and smiled.

"You are one of God's most beautiful creatures." He murmured. You stood in the doorway and watched Castiel as he comforted the baby.

"Next to your mother of course. She is God's most beautiful creature, and you're a close second." The baby yawned. Cas smiled. The baby fell back to sleep in his arms and Cas just held it, not wanting to let it go. You walked in and put a hand on his shoulder, making your presence known.

Cas saw you and smiled.

"I love you." You said kissing him.

"I love you too." He mumbled against your lips.
