Vegeta's POV

Today was the day that Katatina and the rest of the Z-Fighters are going to celebrate my birthday. Katarina always makes the day special.

I woke up, took a shower, and got dressed. I found the gloves that Katarina made me, which I could tell because she embroidered a red heart on the inside of the glove.

I walked into the kitchen, where Bulma was making breakfast and Trunks was doodling on a piece of paper on the counter. " Good morning Vegeta! Happy Birthday, sweety!" Bulma said as was flipping pancakes in the hot skillet. " Thanks Bulma..." I said, tired as usual. " Happy Birthday Dad!" Trunks said as he gave me drawing, it looked like him and I as super Saiyans. It was cute, I guess... Katarina would find it cute, so would Bulma.

I then left after I had breakfast. I went to go see Katarina. She was my confidant, she was always there when I needed her to be. She was the love of my life, until I fell in love with Bulma... I still have feelings for Katarina. Anyway I went to Kakarot's house, that's where Katarina lives, which seems weird I guess. I knock at the door, Chi-Chi answered the door. "Hey, I guess you are here for Akari?" She asked as I rolled my eyes. " Who else would I see?" I said and she pointed me to the back door. Katarina's room was near the back door, so Chi-Chi usually sends me to the back door. I got to the door and Katarina yelled " come in Vegeta!".

I walked in, she was in the Kitchen, mixing frosting. " Vegeta, which blue do you think looks good to you?" Katarina randomly asked. I picked the one that looked more like a Saiyan blue, which was a royal blue color. " I figured, you would pick the royal color..." Katarina said as she mixed a big bowl of royal blue frosting. " Why did you ask me about a frosting color?" I asked, still a little puzzled. "Well it's your birthday cake of course, I need to make it perfect!" She explained, as she then covered the cake with expert flare. She was really was good at a lot of things, desserts, fighting, magic, and she is a beautiful singer.

She then made Saiyan armor of the old design that I would wear out of cereal treats. Then covered it with fondant, and started to paint the lines with a brush and food coloring. She made it look like the real thing. It was amazing! " Vegeta, can I borrow your glove?" Katarina asked as she looked at me. " Sure, but don't get it dirty..." I said and handed Katarina the glove. She saw the heart inside the glove. "You are wearing the gloves I made you a few years back. Back when we were together..." She said as she rolled out fondant to make gloves it seemed. "I am glad you care for them still." She said as she was being careful how she handled the gloves she made. She made two fondant gloves, they looked like the real thing!

It even had the heart in the insides of them. They were exsactly like my real gloves I was wearing. She washed her hands and she looked at the finished cake. It was a two tier cake with realistic Saiyan armor and gloves.The cake was blue, a Saiyan blue. It was really beautiful. I saw Katarina come over with a mini cake in her hands. "I always make a test cake, you can taste the cake now. The cake is a devils food cake with fudge buttercreme." Katarina said as she held onto the mini cake. " No, I shouldn't I know what my cake tastes like. I want to be surprised." I said, hugging Katarina for making the cake. I missed hugging her, she was warm and comforting to me. I wish I could love her too. Wait! I think I know a way, but I would have to research farther...

Katarina was then covering the cake and placing it in the fridge. " So who is coming to this party?" I asked trying to not make this whole thing awkward. "Well, let me think... the Z-Fighters, puar, Dende, Mr.Popo... usual people that come, Berus, Whis..." then she stopped... "I think I got everybody..." she concluded.

"Wait if Whis is coming I can ask him about something!" I said,making it sound urgent for some weird reason. "What do you need to ask him? I can summon him very quickly." Katarina said as she took the mini cake and walked out the door. " Whis? I have something for you! Please come, it won't last forever!..." she said to the sky, lifting the mini cake in the air. Suddenly Whis appeared out of thin air. " Well, hello Lady Katarina! It's wonderful to see you again! Would you like to come and play a game of chess or train or have a cup a tea with me?" Whis said as he gave Katarina a hug. " Not right now, thank you. I just have a tasting cake for you and Vegeta wanted to ask you a question." She said as she gave the cake and a fork to Whis and he started to eat it. " Oh! This cake is beautiful and yummy! You make the best cakes in the whole entire universe." Whis complemented Katarina on her bakeing skills. " Oh and what do need, Vegeta?"
