"Sector is clear!" A trooper informed the group before placing his rifle against a wall and sitting down

"Trooper." The spartan walked up to the trooper

"Evening Commander. Everything alright?" The trooper asked, looking up into the spartan's visor

"Yes, just wanted to check on you. May I?" He replied, motioning next to the trooper

"Go ahead, sir." The trooper responded, watching the spartan

"Thanks. How are you holding up?" The spartan asked

"I'm doing alright sir. Just exhausted from the non-stop combat." The trooper answered, before lowering his balaclava, bringing his canteen to his lips and took a sip

The spartan nodded in agreement before speaking up "Don't you find it odd that we aren't usually equipped with weaponry to take down shields? We usually need to scavenge them. It would make it easier for us if we had the right tools for the job." The spartan stated

The trooper put away his canteen and spoke up "Yeah, that would actually help. Maybe even construct a weapon that is both plasma and ballistic."

"My thoughts exactly. Als-" the spartan was cut off by the comms coming to life

"Charlie team, we need you back at the F.O.B. ASAP!" The voice over the radio exclaimed, sounding somewhat frantic

"Alright, breaks over people!" The trooper exclaimed to the fireteam before the spartan helped the trooper up

"We'll continue the conversation later." The spartan stated, before handing the trooper his rifle
