"Sonic! Wait for me!" Amy yelled as she past by Tails.

"Amy, stop!" Tails said.

"Huh? Oh, hi Tails. How are you?"

"I'm fine. What are you doing here?"

"Trying to find Sonic so we can go on a picnic together."

"Well, I don't know what Sonic's doing, but he should be back soon-"

"I'm back!"

"See? I told you."Tails smirked.

"What's that?" Amy pointed towards Sonic's hand.

"Oh, a chaos emerald. I found it when I was running around."

"Great! Maybe it can power my time machine I built."

"Why you would need a time machine when you have the chaos emeralds?" Amy questioned.

"I don't know..."

"Come on Tails. Let's see if this works."

"Okay, Sonic. You coming too Amy?"

"Sure! Why not?"

"Okay, let's go!" Sonic sped off in a streak of blue light.

Twenty minutes later...

"Chaos emerald."

"Here." Sonic passed the emerald to Tails.

"Okay. I put it inside the machine. Now we wait." Tails said as he stepped out of the workshop.

Long silence...

"So, Amy, I was wondering if we could go on the picnic you said we was going on." Sonic said after the awkward silence.

"Sure." Amy replied happily.

A couple hours later...

"See? That wasn't so bad."

"It was horrible!"

"Sonic, you need to get over your fear of water. You are the only one who refuses to go to the water places."

"I thought it was just a picnic!"

"Well maybe you should have asked me first."

"Well maybe you should have stopped chasing me."

"WELL MAYBE-"

"Shut up, both of you! You need to come here quick!" Tails shouted from the workshop.

"Wonder what's wrong?" Amy said.

Sonic and Amy ran towards the workshop as fast as they can.

"We're here.  What did you ne-... Oh my gosh! WHAT HAPPENED!?" Sonic yelled.

"I think the chaos emerald multiplied itself because of the energy." Tails stated.

"What are we going to do with all the other emeralds?"

"Uhh.... I don't know."

"Maybe we can give them to the jewelry store." Amy suggested.

"Sounds like a good idea!" Sonic replied.

Twenty years in the past...

"Sonic, be careful!"

"Shut up Tails. I know how to defeat-"

Sonic was hit in the back by a fireball.

"AHHHHHHH! Tails, get some water, now!"

"Stupid hedgehog." Tails said in his mind as he ran to get some water.
