A long time ago, two beings existed in the form of wolves. One was Light, the other, Darkness. Light was the benevolent leader of all living things, and he had anointed Darkness as his right hand. Both were very powerful, yet due to the more awesome powers of Light, Darkness grew jealous of him. She plotted to kill Light, end his reign, and take over as ruler of everything, but Light knew of her plan. When Darkness and her army of nightmares attacked, Light fought valiantly. However, in the end, it was all in vain. Just as he had foreseen, Darkness overpowered Light. She ripped Light's soul crystal, the Crystal of Life, from his chest, shattered it, and spread the shards across the night sky. Those shards became the stars. Light wasn't dead yet, though. With his last breaths, he uttered a curse that confined Darkness within her own soul crystal and buried her deep beneath the Earth. To this day, the location of the Crystal of Death is unknown, and hopefully, it will remain that way forever. For if it were to be uncovered, Darkness would escape, only to rule the world in her own, heinous way.
