i think crushes are the worst
despite media portraying them as the best
because honestly,
they kinda suck with dalvie's policy
of "having a blackened soul" (jk i'm not that depressed)

and they aren't even fun!
to think i was so naive that i wanted
one
more after the first
otherwise i would've quote unquote "burst"
now I'm just sorta done

love isn't so nice and easy like the movies
it isn't dramatic hair flips and kindergarten cooties
love isn't boys in gorgeous glasses and suits
and it isn't girls in skimpy outfits with knee high boots
they make it seem like everywhere is filled to the brim with cuties

well it isn't that way
most of the time, crushes just make you feel not okay
it's like, whenever you talk to them, you lose
the english language and then you choose
to sort of walk awkwardly away

but then,
yet again,
crushes are something to live for
something you can use so class isn't such a bore
something that inspires you to write with a pen

they light up your world
they make you want to have your hair curled
they give you something
they honestly give you everything
you have ever wanted, your whole life becomes a swirling whirl

so i guess they aren't the worst
but they aren't the best
whenever i have one, i want to compress
my heart into a small ball and stuff it in a vest
but i guess
that that's normal for someone living in the west
i don't really know
this whole stanza sorta ruined my poem's flow

oh one interesting story from my day lmaooo

so i had to print something out, and so i went to the print area place thingy anyways soOOO

all the computers were taken up so i saw one of my dude friends with his other bro friends

(AHEM SO HERE IS SOME BACKSTORY ON THIS DUDE FRIEND LMAO: we've known each other since like elementary lol but we talked a lot more like two years ago but we don't talk that much anymore cuz he's a year older. but like two three years ago, i used to have a mini crush on him so that was weird lmao welp i saw him again this year more often and so i was like hmm maybe i still like him?? buT then i found out he has a gf now so i was like meh oh well OKAY BACKSTORY DONE LOL)

so i went up to talk to him ahaha because i'M SOCIAL (jk) and then i was like talking to him but then a computer opened so i left and went to it

but then

behind my back

i heard his friends say "hey don't you tell her that you have a girlfriend" aS IF they assumed that i was flirting with him -_- also they were soooo not quiet about it bleugh

anyways

so that was on my mind today lol

BUT THENNN 😂😂😂 i saw him after school and we dabbed at each other so that was lit lmao he's pretty nice and really funny but he has a gf *shrug* also he's sorta not that smart but idk tbh lmao oK STORY DONE
