10 THINGS THAT MAKE DALVIE HAPPY

1 | MY FRIENDS : even though i sometimes get annoyed at some of them sometimes, i still love them, especially my youth group friends. honestly, yg is one of the only things that like keeps me alive and mentally sane so YEET! also, all of you fall into this category!! i loooove talking to all of you, and you sweet people never fail to make me smile or laugh with your puns or encouragement. and this may sound super selfish, but i love whenever people comment on my like stories - it makes me so happy!! SO THANKS!

2 | MY MUSIC : music has such a great effect on someone. when i'm having a bad day, i just try and put on some happy music and hope that it will cheer me up. usually i play like now is the start by a fine frenzy or something by dodie (she always makes me cheer up at least a little bit). recently, i've been playing music by pj because his songs are adorable even if he sings off key sometimes lmao what a cutie. also i loooove singing and playing instruments whenever i feel bored. PLUS! music inspires more of my writing, so that's awesome

3 | MY WRITING : so i know that my writing has taken a bit of a dip this week / period of time (oops), but honestly, today i really found my love of writing again in *drumroll*... SCREENWRITING! WOO! yes, that is right! ya girl dalvie has started to write some short screenplays (ish) and even though they probably aren't formatted correctly, WHO CARES? i'm happy and really proud of my writing again, so yay!

4 | MY FAVOURITE YOUTUBERS : this is sort of a recent and random thing, but if yaLL COULDNT TELL (LMAO), i've gotten into really amazing youtubers / filmmakers such as pj liguori, sammy paul, and bertie gilbert! they never cease to make me laugh but also dang! their short films are fREAKING AMAZING!!!! they really inspire me with their creativity, especially pj omg. if you haven't watch any of their work before, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!! if you need recommendations on videos, ask me! i have a bunch of favourites from them ahahahaha. oh also the fantastic foursome will always make me laugh. always.

5 | MY FAVOURITE CELEBRITIES : of course, we all are part of fandoms. i love to insta stalk lmao and even if i'm sad, i can prob look at a pic of tom holland or lana condor and break out into smiles. even though these celebs are just normal people, they really bring so much joy and love into our lives like omg #lifeofafangirl

6 | MY FOOD : BAHAHAH YES WE HAVE GOTTEN TO THIS SECTION! i love boba and 99% of the time, it cheers me up. i also love eating good food because iTS LIT (examples include fries, tim tams, chocolate in general, dumplings, asian food in general, authentic mexican food, and etc)

7 | MY GRAPHIC DESIGN : i love to edit photos and it's just a really fun hobby, especially if you can't draw but still want to make creative things. i am usually pretty happy after making something on picsart or whatever so woo!

8 | MY PHOTOGRAPHY : i have found an even stronger love  for photography after watching (unhealthy amounts of) pj. today i went to garden and just spammed my phone with pictures ahahah (i posted them below). so yeah! it's just really nice to take a good photo and hang out in nature and yep yep

9 | MY CRUSHES : oof this one is self explanatory bahahahhaa

10 | MY WORSHIP : this again goes with youth group category / music category , but honestly, i also love youth group for the worship. worship songs always make me feel better, and i def love leading worship. it's super fun, and i love to sing so WOOT!

ok so today was a pretty decent day!

i woke up lol then ate apple pie eheh then did some homework (aka watched more pj short films) and then my mum took me to boba cuz she had to meet with someone !

THENNNNN i got to go to this garden place with one of my closest bff's who i have not talked to like face to face in FOREVER

the garden was sooooo pretty

also it was super hot lmao so i was walking around in a tank top *LE GASP MY SHOULDERS but hey i looked cute if i say so myself*

then i went home and we had some peeps over so that was pretty fun

thEENNN i got to finish writing my mini screenplay!!!!!! it's not really a "short film" because it's actually more like a music video for another song that i'd cover buuUUUUT i'm really proud of myself as i said above! yay!!!

because i finished that one, i'm now working on an actual short film script and it's going to talk about the social issues that i, as a young person, see in my school (ex: suicide jokes, racism, cyberbullying, etc)

SO YEAH! i hope that one won't flop but who knows

anyways lol i realllyyy want to contact pj to tell him that he has inspired me with these ideas and maybe if he could tell me some tips cuz IDK HOW TO FILM AT ALL AHAHAH

buuuut he like only answers tweets apparently so rip
