dedicated to the hate accounts on all social media, especially wattpad 💖

if you want to hate on someone,
i want you to come talk to me.
come share your feelings with me.
i want to see
your perspective of the world,
i do really. even though we will most likely disagree.
come and cuss out all the people who
you want the world to see
as horrible and trashy and ugly.

if you wish for someone to kill themselves,
come talk to me.
be downright nasty in your words and blatantly
describe them as stupid, disgusting, and beastly.
don't let my smile get in the way of your words
of which sting like a bee.

if your heart is able to crucify people with no emotional repercussions,
come talk to me.
you want attention and want a reaction,
i've seen it all before from the north to south sea.
ok, alright, i'll give you the attention you want and actually,
i'll give you more than that
like a tall apple tree.

i'll give you a listening ear.
i'll give you a person who wants to hear
your side of the story.
i'll give you a chance to disappear
from the world around who hate you so because of your words,
your words which you seem to control like a messy puppeteer.
i'll give you a shoulder to cry on and
i'll always be here

come bash me, come break me, come stick my face under the dirt.
i'm not afraid.
because if i'm able to channel the anger like a lock and key,
then maybe i'll be able to keep it away
from the people whom i love
and i can give you a chance to be free.

i'm just really tired of seeing hate accounts bash people and if you didn't see my message board, i announced that they should really just aim all their insults at me so that no one else gets them

i also really want to have a conversation with the hate accounts, even if it won't do anything. i just want them to know that they don't know the impact of their words, and that even though everyone they encounter seems to hate them (because of their own hate), i am still there for them because i really believe they can become better

does that even make sense? eh
