"This is nice," you said, your head on his shoulder as you two slow danced.

It was your two month anniversary and boy, had it been a fast and interesting two months. You both had loved every second of it.

"It is," Steve agreed. "No fighting, no guns, just us."

"You and I both have guns under our coats," you snorted. He laughed and shushed you.

"Ok fine, we are technically on a mission, but it's our anniversary! Can't we have peace for once?" he asked. You nodded.

"Sorry." You took your head off his shoulder and gazed into his dazzling sky blue eyes.

"It's fine, doll," he said, staring back into your brilliant (E/C) eyes. Oh how he loved you.

Even though it was only your two month anniversary, he had never felt this way with any other girl before. True, he had never really dated anyone (one night stands were his thing), but this time it was different. In a good way.

"What're you thinking about, soldier boy?" you asked playfully. Steve grinned at you.

"Your beautiful self."

"I'm flattered."
