Soo.....this is my story on how I got into kpop.

Now, let's dive into the story shall we?
Let's get it!!

So it was in 2013, (i was 7 y.o) I was watching some movie and the male protagonist danced to gangnam style and no joke, I literally thought that gangnam style was one of my country's regional song. Hear me out on this one, I was multilingual since I was young (and my theoretical geography was weak) so I pretty much didn't know any other countries except for USA, India and it's states, china and Russia. So....... yea 😅

It was a hype here as well as in the whole world so there was no way I could have dodged that.

Anyway, let's skip to 2018, the year of my entry into kpop.

So I was watching a yt video, where the youtuber were doing a qna. There was this one question, "are you a BTS army?" I was like, was there a division in the army? (Military). She danced to gogo and I found it catchy.

Being a curious dumpling I am, I searched BTS

And the first thing I saw was DNA's thumbnail. I was kinda busy so I didn't listen. A few days later Gogo got stuck in my mind. I ignored it but my friend mxxnshinee also told me to watch BTS' MVS. I watched DNA and I loved their hair colour, the one that stood out the most bcz of their hair was Suga 🤣 but still I was not kinda into it.

I totally forgot about it as I was having annual function at my school. I met an army there. She was a die hard army and me, a person who just listened to one song, was confused of what she was saying.

This was my reaction.

Like fr, I couldn't understand what she was saying. I still didn't listen to their songs.

So a few months passed by, I was leading a happy life until I heard a cover of DDU DU DDU DU. It was catchy. I searched Blackpink and listened to original DDU DU DDU DU but didn't like it that much and then I listened to boombayah.

I. Was. Intrigued.

I kept listening to them and eventually became a blink. Luckily I had someone to talk to and who would listen my kpop rants. @mxxnshinee was that person 😂.

So, one day I was really sad as me n my parents had some fight. I wanted to listen to Korean songs but I only stanned Blackpink, and their songs didn't suit my sad mood, I could only listen to stay but I needed more songs.

I typed BTS and then for some reason spring day was at the top. I listened to it and boom. My mood was all set, I made up with my parents and slept peacefully.

After that I listened to more songs, had the "who's who?" Phase and many more.

Now, I am a multi stan(I still stan 2nd gen kpop idols bcz I wasn't able to stan them before)

And I'm a k-drama fan as well 🙃 (if anyone wants to start watching a new drama and don't know which one to start with or just finished a really great drama but don't know which one to watch now, then ask me...... I'll recommend you some 😉)
