At first he seemed like a sweet guy but his true intentions where to use Natalie for his own good. He was a villain. He was able to find out about her other life:being a superhero. So he threatened to harm her teammates if she told anyone that he was a villain. Caring too much about her teammates she didn't tell anyone. Even her parents. One day Natalie broke up with him not being able to handle it anymore. In a fit of anger Michael forced himself on top of her and forced her into bed. 
Then he let her go.
