Okay so here's what confuses me. One of the many things but anyway

Why do people think Phantom is a shallow character that just hates everyone?

Guys she is my most complex character I have. I can't even describe her actions sometimes but they just feel right for her you know?

She doesn't hate people right away. And while she does have a general distaste for people in general, she judges them individually based on their actions. And yeah while her judgement might be a bit harsh and unfair, she gives people a chance usually.

She can become someone's friend if they know how to approach her. And once they do she will gladly fight for them to the death. She has loyalty and honor most times. She won't kill someone while they're down (unless she's in BloodLust but she's learning to control that)

Guys...if you don't stalk her because you're curious she can turn out to be a cool character. I swear she's not the stereotypical emo type.

Just give the hardened, PTSD stricken warrior a chance eh? 

(And yes I know I've ranted to a few people about this but I need to use this book more)
