You know how it's like boy/girl goes to an all girl/boy school and disguises themselves as a girl/boy. And then they fall in love with the popular or bad boy/girl and happy ending.

Why can't we just not have that plot but instead a plot of the discovery of how someone isn't comfortable in their body and realizes that they aren't exactly who they thought they were but in fact feel comfortable as the other gender.
