In the bnha AU Garroth literally has no idea about the burn mark and the blindness of Zane because at first the over up on why there was bandages there (when children) was that he hurt himself when running around the house and now is that his hair is there to cover it up and also he can do what he wants with his hair.

In this AU the blindness and burn mark is where his blind eye originally was, it was caused when Garroth and Zane were playing a board game earlier and Garroth claimed he cheated so he chased him around the house until he found something left on the stove, specifically a metal teapot(it made a weird noise and he didn't know what it meant by that so he assumed it was a weapon charging it's power). He reached up and grabbed and set on his journey to find Zane and try and scare him(which ended up attacking him) with this mysterious weapon.

Once he found Zane and cornered him him claimed he cheated and Zane denied in the end he accidentally hurt his by waving the metal teapot around trying to activate it.

Zianna took the blame for Garroth and ended up getting hurt(but not sent to the hospital hurt) but then started Zane's ever growing hatred for his family(excluding Zianna). Only him, his dad, and his mom know about the burn mark but not the fact that he was blind. From then on after the bandages got removed he hid his blind eye and burn mark with his hair(Which Garte wanted to cut so it wouldn't cover it because it was annoying him but Zianna convinced him not to in the end).

In the end later on Garroth and Vylad(Eventually when he shows up from the Supports Class) will learn the real reason why he covers that part of his face, they've gotten slight glimpses of it but won't find out until Aphmau tells them why. As in Zane eventually tells Aphmau why he covered his eye and she tells Garroth since she thinks he deserves to know and Garroth tells Vylad and they want to find out if that's actually true.
