Ah the magical world of Pokémon. Full of special creatures with god like abilities. A dream for every Pokémonfan to visit. Or is it?

Let's Explore this world and look at its porpperties so we can examine if it really is your dream vacation

DISCLAIMER:I you hate maths and physics this isn't for you. Btw don't assume everything is correct. These are just my calculations. And I picked the whole country for measurements unless it's a gigantic country.

The surface area

Let's first look at the surface area of the Pokémonworld.
Because The games locations are based on real countries we can estimate the surface area the pokemon world would have.

First is Japan home to the Kanto,Johto,Hoenn and Sinnoh region
Japan has surface of about
380.000 km2 (km2= square kilometre)

Next is the east coast of the Us home to the unova region
The east coast contains the states of: Maine,New Hampshire,Massachusetts,Rhode island,Connecticuit,New york,New Jersey,Delaware,Maryland,Virginia,
North and South Caroline,Georgia and
Florida.
Combined they have a surface area of
About 1 milion km2

Next Northern France home to the Kalos region
It roughly has a surface area of
320.000 km2

And last but not least we have
The state of Hawai home to the Alola region
It has a surface area of roughly
28.000 km2

So the entire Pokémon world has a surface area of 1.728.000 km2
That is about the same as the surface area of Alaska. Or Libya/Iran
(Note: I didn't count any oceans cause we don't know if the Pokémonworld has oceans at all)

If the Pokémon world were country on earth it would be the 17th largest country slightly behind Lybia but larger than Iran.

Population

The averge population density of all countries/ares above is
158 people/km2

So again if the Pokémonworld were country it would have 24th highest population density . Slightly higher than Uganda but bellow Nepal.

So with this population density we can estimate that the Pokémonworld would be home for up to 273 Milion people that is about the same as the population of Indonesia but cramped into half the space.

So If the Pokémonworld were a country on earth it would have the 4th largest Population in the world

Geometry(In this section I'm treating the Pokémonworld as a planet)

The formula for the the surface area of a sphere is

So the formula for R2(in M)=
Root of
(1.782 X 10 to the power of 12/4pi)

So when we fill the numbers we see that the Pokémonworld has a Radius of about 1200 km. That means that the Pokémonworld has a radius slightly larger than Pluto and slightly smaller than Triton (the largest moon of Neptune)

Now we have the radius we can calculate with this formula

What the volume of the planet would be 7.2 bilion km3 (km3=Cubic metres)
Which would put the planet at the 16th place in terms of volume. If it was a planet in the solar system.

Now we have all these facts we can answer our question. If humans could live on the pokemon planet

To answer this question correctly
So I explained to you that hypothetically the population of the entire Pokémonworld would be 273 million .The entire World currently has a population of roughly 7500 Milion people. So my question to you is:
If the Pokémonworld were a country how much % of the world population would it make up?
