THIS CHAPTER IS NOT MEANT TO BE OFFENSIVE!!! IT WAS NOT MEANT TO BE RUDE AND IF IT SOMEHOW SOUNDED RUDE TO YOU, IT WAS COMPLETELY UNINTENTIONAL! PLEASE DO NOT POST ANY MEAN OR DISRESPECTFUL COMMENTS BECAUSE, AS I JUST SAID, THIS RANT ISN'T INTENDED TO BE OFFENSIVE!!!

Anyway....

Now, to start off with, don't get me wrong. I absolutely LOVE Disney. But we all must admit that lately, the shows have been less than satisfying.

Here are the main TV shows that were playing when I was a little kid:

•Wizards Of Waverly Place (My favorite Disney show)

•The Suite Life Of Zack and Cody (this belongs in the next list, but I love this show so much that I'm just gonna put it  here)

•The Suite Life On Deck

•Good Luck Charlie

•Hannah Montana (not much of a fan anymore because of Miley Cyrus)

•Phineas And Ferb

•Sonny With A Chance (not the best show, to be honest)

You get my drift? You do? Okay, well here are some of the older shows that still occasionally played when I was a little kid:

•That's So Raven

•Even Stevens

•Kim Possible

•Lizzie McGuire

•Cory In The House

•Boy Meets World

Here are the more recent, yet older shows, most of which were actually pretty good, but will never be as good a the Disney shows listed above:

•Jessie

•Austin And Ally

•Shake It Up

•A.N.T. Farm

Now here are the most recent and most ridiculous Disney shows:

•Liv And Maddie

•K.C. Undercover

•Girl Meets World (the only decent more modern Disney show)

•I Didn't Do It

•Dog With A Blog

•Best Friends Whenever

•Evermoor

•Bunk'd

Now to the main part of this rant: all of the things wrong with these more modern Disney shows!

1.) There's less depth and meaning!

Older Disney shows have important themes. They teach you about the importance of family and friends. They teach you about taking responsibility for your actions. But modern Disney shows? Forget it.

Now I'll admit that modern Disney shows do have valuable themes, but they are all overshadowed by the stupid stuff. The only modern Disney show I can actually think of as decent and meaningful is Girl Meets World because it teaches about family and friends and how to deal with growing up.

Modern Disney shows lack depth and meaning. Disney doesn't really dig beneath the surface anymore. They don't bother to add anything relatable and realistic. They're starting to go down the same path that the music industry is on. (And just so you know, that is not good.)

2.) Shows are becoming repetitive.

I understand that the more shows you make, the more ideas you use up, but it couldn't hurt to have a little originality. I mean some of these shows, although not exactly the same, are actually quite repetitive if you pay attention.

Ex: Liv and Maddie. Twins navigating their way through friends, family, and high school. Polar opposites. Sound familiar? (*cough* The Suite Life Of Zack And Cody *cough* and The Suite Life On Deck *cough*)

3.) The clothes are just...wow.

Now don't get me wrong. Girl Meets World is one of the good shows that Modern Disney has, but the clothes, though. I mean, why would you dress a girl who suppose to be in middle/high school like a supermodel?!?!

4. Cliché-ish characters.

Popular/nerdy/dumb brother? Check. Smart sister/best friend? Check. Rebel best friend? Check. Need I go on?

5. The shows in general.

Okay. Some of the episodes of modern Disney shows can be quite...well, stupid sometimes, to be honest, and the only purpose it serves is to just be there and act as a filler. Plus, there's usually no theme or lesson. There's no event that'll be important later in the series. To put it simply, some episodes are just flat out uninteresting.

I can't really think of anything else at the moment due to my exhaustion. XD So maybe I'll continue it, maybe I won't. And PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT MEANT TO BE OFFENDING!!! SO PLEASE DON'T GET OFFENDED!!!
