I am sending you my deepest apologies. I'm praying for every single one of you at this moment. My heart aches at the condition you're in and the condition you have been in for so long. I am sorry that we failed you. We said 'never again' but we continue to let this terror happen. Humanity has continued to fail you. We as humans are capable of so much more. We could have helped you. But we didn't. We sat here, oblivious or not caring about you. Our apologies can never be forgiven but I will continue to apologize because I don't know what else to do. I regret using my birthday money for Christmas gifts, I wish I would have donated it to organizations trying to help you. I am so sorry that we have failed you and that humanity failed you. You deserved so much better.
