I have four brothers-- an older one, and three younger ones. I was the youngest until my dad got remarried and had a second son. Now that one.. He's a brat. I was babysitting them last week and he called me a retard (not setting up a rant for people to be like "OHH YOU'RE SO MUCH MORE THAN THAT"-- I wasn't offended, just setting an example) because he wanted to play a video game but he played it literally all day. But he's a four year old. He shouldn't know what that means, and he should know better than to call someone that! I'm also very sensitive about retards. I think it's so cruel how people view them. How would you feel if your name, or what you are, was an insult? A bad word?

My youngest one is 1 and a half. He's not spoiled at all (I think after raising a badmouthed one, they're being more careful). He's adorable!! Everytime he is in a happy mood he just makes a 'rah' sound that has a blend of the voice of Gollum from The Hobbit. I make one right at him, and he loves it. He thinks it's hysterical. However, when I stop to play video games or whatever, he hates that, and he starts screaming like he's being tortured by enemy spies.

I have a stepbrother, and.. Let me get to the point. People treat him so cruelly! He has dyslexia, and not the one with reading. There's this kind where people have trouble comprehending explanations, instructions, so my dad and stepmom think he's just stupid. It's not his fault! I know older sisters (admin speaking here) are supposed to be sassy and cold-natured to their brothers, but... This is just so cruel. They call him stupid when he's in the room. They pretend he's not even there. They don't involve him in family discussions. They call him a retard. I let him sit in my room so he can watch me play video games. I explain the plot, tell him about the characters, and then...
My stepmom/dad comes in the room and tells him to get out. Then they just walk off. Don't get me wrong, I thought he was annoying at first, but now this is just so sad. What do you guys think?
