A couple of you wanted to know what happened with my friends--it's all good now!

Friend #2 now thinks we both were being stupid (and says she doesn't find it hard to believe that I would panic and say stuff I don't mean... apparently I've managed to accidentally offend her before by wording things wrong. SEVERAL times. Of course I panicked at that, so then there was this awkward moment in our conversation, but after a lot of frantic apologies we're pretending none of that stuff happened). But she was the one who marched me over to Friend #1 to force me to talk to her and clear things up.

And the one girl who overheard our conversation yesterday and said I sounded jealous? Friend #2 took it upon herself to talk to her too. So, yay for Friend #2. She's not as pissed as she seemed! (Also, I wore her down by spamming her. So she did reply to my messages eventually... things just didn't get completely fixed until we saw each other in person.)

Friend #1 (the one running for class council) is still kinda pissed... the good news is, it's not at me! Apparently she decided she has better things to be pissed about after this whole incident with ANOTHER friend, in which even that other friend can agree that they both fucked up. But you don't need to hear about that lol. Just know that the other thing overshadowed the class council thing. XD

Also, even though we were still awkward with each other at school, everything really went back to normal after she practically had an anxiety attack because she found out that a bunch of her sort-of friends were planning on literally forcing her to ask out this one guy to Sadie's (a school dance) even though she didn't even like him, and she started frantically texting me about it and spamming me with panicked, all caps messages. I think it was a force of habit that she texted me, of all people, but by the time she realized she was supposed to still be upset with me, it was kinda too late.

So yay! Thanks to a couple of coincidences, she is too busy being pissed at others to have the energy to stay pissed at me.
