*sigh* So this is a thing now, eh? The internet's version of the old "Edward vs Jacob" debate. (Thank goodness that stupid fight is over.)

Yes, I'm guilty of picking a side. When writing this, I'm currently wearing a Markiplier charity stream shirt, and clearly I write some Mark-based stuff on here. But, I'll do my best to not be biased, especially as this isn't actually a "debate" chapter.

Whenever you go to a Markiplier video and scroll to the comments, (I hardly ever see these on Pewdiepie's channel, but I don't really "comment surf" like with Markiplier's) you're gonna find that guy that comments something like this sweet comment I saw:

"f*** you pewds is better ur just an annoying losar who tries to be like pewds who is better but you arnt so you suck because ur not pewds"

A+ spelling. That'll TOTALLY help convince people.

Then, natually, Markiplier fans flock to that comment with keyboards ah bazin' to defind Markiplier. Then the Pewdiepie fans fight back. Then the people who are all "Can't we just say that they're BOTH great?" get drowned out by the arguments.

'Tis a shame, really. A bunch of arguing filling the comments instead of "This video was too funny! I loved it. Lol!" or "You are such a nice person. I'm glad that you care so much." style comments.

Here's my idea of how to solve the problem: Pause the video, and head over the another channel. If you don't like what/who you're watching, you don't have to comment. Heck, no one is forcing you to stay and watch the whole video! There's a back button for a reason.

Another point to ponder: Felix and Mark are friends. Meaning they get along well. Why can't the fans get along, or at least ignore eachother?

I don't really enjoy Felix's videos. I find him to be a tad too obnoxious FOR MY TASTE. I'm not against others liking Felix, I just don't particularly love his work. But do I go around commenting that Mark is better? Nope! I watch what I like, like who like, and comment about the video, not who's better than who.

It's stupid. It's just stupid.

Whether you like Felix, Mark, or neither, you don't need to share and make others mad.
