Appearance: a handsome, sleek coal-black yes boi cat with a distinctive white stomach and chest. He has what sometimes seems to be green or amber eyes, which seems to depend on his mood YUS BOI . When his eyes are green, his pupils are vertical, oval-like tipped slits, indicating a dissed mood YUUUUSS . When he is happier and cheered, his pupils seem to drown out his now amber eyes, and the pupils are very round and large *inhales* boi.

Personality: likes showing off to his crush, Nightflare, and he is a friendly cat once you get to know him. He can be skittish at first but warms up quickly. Despite his rather warm nature, he will defend his clan with his every last ounce of strength before giving up. Nothing easily brings him down.

Backstory: through kit and apprenticehood, he and Nightflare hung out a lot, as they went through life together at the same ages. When he became a warrior alongside Nightflare, he noticed how Nightflare was beginning to show signs of liking him. As a new warrior, Blackstar (as a warrior named Blackstorm), also had a strong desire to become his clan's future deputy, but gave up on those plans when he started liking Nightflare. But then he was promoted deputy when the former one had died during a raid. Soon after he became his Clan's leader and had to pick a new deputy. He decided he would call the clan back before the picking deadline and had a talk with Nightflare. He told her that he wanted her to be his deputy but then they couldn't be mates, because by that point it was pretty obvious that they knew each others feelings for one another. Nightflare decided not to become deputy and the two planned to become mates then. Blackstar was still deciding when Nightflare had been reported missing and was last scented on rogue territory. She was thought to have been dead, bringing Blackstar into a deep depression.
