This is a book of one shots about the characters of the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J Maas. I do not own any of the characters, but most of the plot lines/events are my own ideas.

Srry one more thing- the media at the top will, for the most part, have nothing to do with the text, whatsoever. The pic for this chapter is a pic of the drawing of Arya, one of the characters in The Darkling, by ThaleCarter .

Aedion's Tricks

After a full day of training with Rowan, Aelin had to admit- she was exhausted. Once they finished, they went back up to the newly furnished castle and into their bedroom, where she immediately claimed the bathroom for a nice, long soak. When she finished, he also took a bath, if only to prevent her complaints of him smelling "worse than a vagrant."
Rowan's hair has grown long again, so it now hung just past his shoulders, while Aelin's hair fell just down to her waist.
When they both collapsed into bed side by side, falling asleep instantly, neither of them knew that Aedion had been listening from his room, waiting for them to fall asleep so he might get to have some fun...

Once he was sure the fae prince and his queen were asleep, Aedion silently crept through the hall to grab some thread that he had gotten from Lysandra. By the look on her face when he asked her for it, she was wondering about the purpose of the thread, but knew well enough not to ask.
Once Aedion had cut the thread into smaller pieces, he crept into the room of his queen and her fae male, and moving as quickly and silently as he could, he tied and twisted the ends of their hair together.
Finishing by tying off a few loose ends, he crept out of their room, down the hall, and back into bed. Lying down, he smiled to himself, silently praying that he would wake up in time to see, or at least hear. The reactions of the powerful couple.

The next morning when Aedion awoke, the sun had not even risen yet, which meant that, most likely, the two currently fae (in aelin's case) were still asleep. Especially considering the training the two of them had done the previous day.
"AEDION!" Aelin's roar echoed down the hall. Well at least I got to hear something.
Whistling down the hall, Aedion sauntered into their room, stopping in the doorframe. Aelin's eyes were blazing, as were her hands, as she and Rowan sat on opposite sides of their bed. Aedion looked at Rowan. In contrast to Aelin's, Rowan's normally bright green eyes were fixed in a cold, feral stare, as he glared at Aedion as best he could, while on the other side of the room.
Aelin opened her mouth to, presumably, yell at him, but then Rowan leaned back and whispered something in her ear. She grinned. A very feline grin. Aedion looked at her expression and gulped. He knew what the look meant. She was planning something... And he had a feeling he wasn't going to like it.
Again, she set her palms ablaze. Aedion tensed, waiting for her to start shooting fire arrows or something at him, but none came. Instead, she extinguished but hands, save for one finger. She lifted that finger up to the strings that bound her and Rowan's hair together, she burned away the threads, reducing them to ashes, while leaving their hair unscathed.

She turned to him, and opened her mouth to say something, her eyes still burning. Again, Rowan, turning this time, whispered something to her. Aelin turned to face him, and thy had another one of their silent conversations. After a few minutes, she rolled her eyes, and turned back to Aedion.

Once more, she opened her mouth to say something, and Aedion cringed. Instead of a yell, a whine escaped her mouth. "Did you have to do that? It hurt a lot!" Aedion gaped at her, expecting something worse. Rowan snickered.
