Death is inevitable. You neither can control it nor you can stop it. It takes a part of you, and resides inside you.

You end up moving away from it, but not forward. It is dull and consistent like darkness.

It's a reminder that life is short, but it goes on. You can't beat its purpose.

The memories you've got left are like tiny pebbles lying under water. You think you can go in and lift them up, but as you end up getting deeper and deeper.

You find yourself drowning, you move your hand forward in an attempt to lift the pebbles which you think are the closest.

Memories are not there to hurt you or haunt you. They are present in this universe to remind you that there once was a time when you were content. When you were happy, and you knew what exactly made you happy. If it happened before it can happen again, too. Nothing lasts longer, but it lasts long enough for you to hold on to it.

Don't turn things that once made you happy into something deathly.
