Chapter 14 : Love is in the air! 

Neil wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer. 

"Mrs Neil Khanna ko gift acha laga...hai na? " he winked as he rubbed his nose against hers lovingly. 

" itne pyar se... Itne cheesy lines likhoge pasand toh aayega na?" Avni teased him as she reciprocated his gesture of nuzzling her nose against his.  

Neil winced his eyes and pouted at her response... "cheesy lines huh? Meine itne pyar se likha aur tum bol rhi ho ki voh cheesy lines the? Not fair Avni..." he made a cute little puppy face. 

He looked so cute and edible at that moment for Avni... She pulled his cheeks and said "aisa muh mat banao Neil...warna... Umm... kha jaungi" she giggled and ruffled his hair above his forehead. 

"acha...toh...toh...kha lo... I'm all yours!" Neil winked as he wrapped his arms tight around her waist and tugged his face under her neck. 

"Neeeiiilll..." Avni nagged as she tried to free herself from his brace but all in vain since his grip only became stronger.  

"bataya toh tha meine... Tum kitna bhi koshish karlo mujhse door jane ki... Mei jaane nai dunga.." Neil smirked without even lifting his head from her bosom.  

All Avni could do was smile at him while caressing his hair... Seemed like both of them wanted the time to stop at that moment...without passing a second further.  Completely lost in each other's secure embrace, Avni and Neil spent a long time in the same position : Avni sat on his lap with her arms encircled around Neil's shoulders who leaned on to her chest with closed eyes and his hands bound her waist. 

It's started to drizzle as if even the sky was envious of this beautiful couple's love! The rain drops brought them back to their senses. Neil lifted his head and saw Avni who was already smiling at him... He smiled too and pointed his eyes above to indicate her about the rain. 

"Neil... Aaj mei bheegna chahti hu. Tumhare sath!" Avni said looking at the sky and feeling the rain droplets on her face. 

"Tumhe barish achi lagti hai na?" Neil asked without shifting his gaze from her face. 

"tumhe kaise pata?" Avni questioned now looking at him. 

"hehe... Utho..." Neil just chuckled and moved her apart him as he went ahead to a corner of the terrace which had a roof kind sheet above and a small table. 

Avni just looked at him wondering what he was upto... while the drizzle turned into heavy rain... 

"Neil... Kya kar rahe ho? Dekho barish tez ho rhi hai...mujhe bheegna hai tumhare sath... Aao na..." Avni shouted from behind as he did the unexpected! 

He played a song on his mobile and kept it on the table... He turned behind to look at Avni and walked over. 

"yeh mausam ki barish... Yeh barish ka paani..."

Avni smiled listening to the song and looking at how romantic her man wanted their first rain together be like...

Neil reached Avni and smiled widely as he took her palm in his while he wrapped another hand around her waist. Avni blushed  as she reciprocated... The rain sped up its pace as the two souls got drenched in the rain and their love! 

Neil twirled her and she swayed as per his steps... They hugged, he lifted her in his arms and spun around making her giggle, smile, laugh whole heartedly...that moment Avni felt how unconditionally her man loved her... All her inhibitions, her fears, her hesitation was all gone along with the rain droplets that slid down her body when the proximity between their bodies reached beyond par when Avni initiated a gentle soft peck on Neil's lips.

Neil was now used to his lady's surprise gestures...  He kissed her too... Wiping away  the rain drops from her cheeks to her lips.  Avni blushed for the zillionth time in the same day since the time she woke up from her sleep.  Neil gently placed her down and whispered "wifey...agar hum kuch aur der bheege toh... toh shadi cancel honeki puri chances hai..."  he smirked. 

Avni winced her eyes in utter confusion... Sensing that Neil continued... "hehe what if we both fall sick? Shadi kaun karega? DD aur Ali?" Neil chuckled. 

"ah Neil... Tum bhi na..." Avni too chuckled as she hit him on the shoulder.  

"acha chalo... Mehendi ke liye ready bhi hona hai naa... Oh god hum toh bhool hi gaye Neil... Chalo chalo..." Avni moved apart  from him as she urged to get inside the house and ran down the stairs without waiting for him to respond. 

Nei grinned wide... Ear to ear at his wifey:s antics. He ruffled his hair behind and followed her...

Avni was in her room...Wiping her hair with the towel and mumbling to herself "uff Avni... Jaldi se ready ho jao. Agar maa aur sare ghar wale aa gaye toh..." 

Neil walked in before she could complete... "relax my dear wifey... Abhi time hai... Tab tak...umm tab tak..." he moved closer to her with a mischievous grin on his face. 

Avni walked backwards as he neared her until her back hit the wall and was caged between his arms on her sides. 

"Neil...Neil...yeh tum kya... Neil nai please... Hume ready hooonn..." 

"ssshhh... ghabrao mat jaan. Mera mind humesha ek hi track pe nahi chalta..." he smirked as he tucked her hair strands behind her ear. Avni's face flushed crimson red at the touch of his fingers on her cheeks. 

Neil smiled and took out his cell phone from his pocket... "toh mei yeh keh raha tha ki... Tab tak hum photos click karte hai... Selfies to cosy pics just like a normal couple does!" he winked in his style. 

"Oh yes Neil... Humne toh aaj tak ek bhi Selfie nahi kheechi sath mei.. Chalo let's click... Aur haan... Meri single pics bhi kheecho iss pyari si dress mei..." Avni not only agreed to his idea without any fuss but also demanded Neil to click her pics which was a huge surprise yet again for him... 

How could he forget? His wifey is "Miss Ajooba"... Only she could give him such sweet shockers...  Neil chuckled at her and said "of course wifey! But not before our lovey dovey cosy pictures theek hai?" 

"uff theek hai patidev... Par... Ek condition hai... Tum inn pictures ko kisi ko nahi dikhaoge... Neela ma ko bhi nai.. Theek hai?" Avni made a cute little pout while warning him... He smiled and cupped her face... 

"acha theek hai madam... These are exclusively for us.. Happy?" He asked looking into her doe eyes... She smiled and nodded.  

Neil pulled her close and let her rest her head on his chest while she hugged him and he wrapped his arm around her shoulder...he placed his chin on her head and both smiled as he clicked a selfie. Their first ever picture!!  It looked so beautiful and the moment became an unforgettable instance for them...  

Then next followed a series of clicking selfies... Few with pouts, few with smiles, few with funny expressions, few with hugs and few with kisses... One thing which wasn't different in each sefie of them was they weren't apart even a bit from each other... They never felt like moving apart from one another.  

"umm Neil... Chalo ab meri single pics click karo.. "  Avni said while posing with one hand on her waist and another in her hair... She had posed like a real diva!  Neil looked mesmerised yet again by his girl's stunning beauty.  He gazed on her without blinking his eyes... 

" Neil... Now stop checking me out... I know that I'm hot " Avni spoke like a turned on chatter box and left Neil baffled at how she kept on giving him sweet shockers almost every minute with her antics... 

" Man... Can she stop giving me mini heart attacks like this " Neil thought in his mind about how she openly proclaimed that she's hot!  

He smiled to himself and started clicking pictures of Avni who was giving poses one by one like a professional model... He adored how beautiful she looked in the dress he gifted her... 

He paused clicking and spoke "Avni... Yeh... Yeh dress kaisi lagi? Bataya nai tumne?"  

Avni who was posing near the curtains turned to face him and said "It's so beautiful and elegant Neil... I loved it so much! Thank you itni pyaari si dress dene ke liye..." 

She walked upto him and gave a warm hug to him...  He hugged her back and just smiled in content that his girl loved his choice of gift. 

"Par Neil... Yeh... Yeh kab laye tum? Aur woh bhi perfect fit wali dress?!" Avni enquired still bound in his embrace. 

"hmm voh... Meine design karvaya... Khaas tumhare liye..." Neil said caressing her hair. 

"awe how sweet Neil... Toh issiliye Jab hum designer ke paas gaye the trial ke liye,tum mujhe aur maa ko car mei bita kar gayab ho gaye the kuch der..."  Avni said as she now understood how he had managed to get this gift for her. 

"Hmm... Exactly" Neil mumbled. 

"Neil... You are the best" She said kissing his   chest before moving away from him. 

"I know " Neil winked earning a giggle from Avni... 

" Self obsessed! Hehe... Acha chalo ab ready ho jate hai Mehendi ke liye..." Avni insisted now as she looked at Neil who was busy checking his phone... 

"Neil... Meine kuch kaha..." Avni shrugged seeing him ignore her words. 

"Avni... Ab yeh mere phone ka wallpaper aur whats app, insta, Facebook sab ka dp banega..." Neil smiled sheepishly looking at one of their pics where Avni was kissing him on his neck with only half of her face seen in the pic since she had tugged her face in the crook of his neck while Neil was kissing her forehead.  

Avni peeped in his phone to see about which pic he was talking about...and when she saw she took no time in punching him in his tummy... 

"Aaaouuu Avni... Hehehe marna mat please..!" Neil chuckled as he ran away from her and roamed the room while Avni chased him behind saying... 

"bola tha na meine... Ki yeh pics kisi ko mat dikhana... Par tumhe toh puri duniya ko dekhani hai..." 

After few rounds of roaming around the room finally when they were exhausted... Both fell on the bed and looked at each other... They laughed at their silliness, but then they knew how much they missed all this since the day they realised their love for each other.
