The next day

Annika was searching for Omru as daadi had called them for breakfast.

In Rudy's room

As she reached there ,she was baffled to find them laughing and giggling happily .

A- what is so funny guys ?Kya kar rahe ho tum donon?(she asked while approaching towards them )

R- arey bhabi!! aayiye,(he pulled and made her sit in between himself and Om)

A- what is it guys ?(she asked being confused)

Om- see this !

He showed an album which consisted of their childhood pictures .

Om- actually, we are seeing this after many years and I myself can't believe that I was such a dork when I was a kid.Matlab,see this na ...kitna ajeeb hoon na mein?(he asked making weird faces )

R- bhabi uska baal dekiye na

He pointed it in the photo and started laughing to get and immediate smack on his head from Om.

Om- duffer ,you aren't left out even .Look at this photo ,dress bhi nahi pehna tumne .(he taunted )

A- arey wait, let me see the photo first. Then start fighting ok .

She pulled the album from Om's hand and suddenly a wide smile appeared on her face which soon turned into a loud laughter witnessing which they both exchanged weird glances.

Om/R- ham itni bhi bura nahi hai bhabi (they said with a sad pout )

A- oi Omru, (controlling her laughter )I ain't laughing looking at you both .

R- then?

A- yahan dekho na ,

She pointed a photo in which ,the small 7 year old shivaay was dressed in a frock with his hair tied up in a coconut tree like structure .He was even wearing some accessories like the anklet and bangles with a long chain running down from his neck .The ultimate cuteness of the picture was his cute reaction where he was just standing erect and staring at the camera focus with an angry face .

Om- ohh ye waali!! (and he started laughing) I still remember that day, he was actually crying before taking this picture, that's why there's an angry glare on his face.(he said while laughing)

A- why?

O- wo actually ,It was choti maa's wish to see him dressed like this ,but he didn't wanted it. So he was crying when she made him wear this dress .

A- awww !! Kitni cute haina shivaay .(she said still admiring the photo )Look at his hairstyle though.

R- Om?Why I'm not remembering anything?

Om- you are a perfect duffer Rudy, you were too young at that time.How will you remember it ?

R- ooooo

The next was a class group photo ,

Om- annika ...ye(interrupted)

A- ek minute wait wait ,I'll find out ki isme kaun hai .

O- hmm.

She scanned the pic from every nook and corner ,to view the faces of all the students .

A- yeah!! Pakadliya mein !! (She expressed)

Om- bathayiye ,

A- mera shivaay hai yahan ,(she said with an excited smile )

At the same time shivaay who just entered the room stood near the doorway listening to her voice .The trio didn't notice him.

R- wow bhabi ,mera?(he teased)

She realised what she had just said .

A- I ...I mean ,it's shivaay here .(her face clearly depicted her shyness )

Om- waise, how did you find out ?

A-(after a long pause) uska ye jo khoobsurat kanji aankein haina, how can I not find him (she said dreamily)

Shivaay immediately smiled widely listening to this ,he loved the fact that she admires him .His crush come love ,was actually adoring him and he couldn't feel more happy than this .He bent down and blushed hard .Omru saw him ,standing there and they exchanged mischievous glances .

R- waise bhabi ,itna kya special hai isme ?Bas blue colour ki eyes hai uska .(he pretended)

A- shh ,it's a girl thing you won't understand(she told and blushed ) He isn't just like anyone else ,he's very special...(after a pause) atleast for me (her voice depicted what she felt for him )

Saying this she gradually looked through the doorway and instantly she was surprised to see him there .He ,who was still locked between her words which she had just uttered stood still witnessing her sight on him .Omru who saw this ,shared a hifi and walked out from the room.Annika was still sitting on the cot with the album in her hands ,and her eyes were wavering here and there feeling the tinch of awkwardness .

A- when did you come?(she asked innocently)

S- uhh vo...(he stammered )

A- you heard everything?

S- hmm(he nodded )

A- it's ok ,I didn't do anything wrong.I just said what I felt. (She spoke while approaching him )Ab tumse bhi ye baath bol sakthi hoon.(she was standing very close to him )You have the most beautiful eyes ever shivaay,(she said maintaining the eyelock )

It was a mere whisper, but it had a huge impact on him which she wasn't aware of, at that moment .Getting such a complement for your love ,would just multiply the happiness a million times and that's what shivaay felt now .But he couldn't just jump in joy infront of her ,there was a slight curve on his lips which then muttered a "thank you".

A- mere saath aaogey?

S- kahan?

A- breakfast ke liye ,aur kahan?

He just smiled and extended his hand in front asking her to lead ,and followed her aside, playing a perfect gentleman.

Since it was the last day of the current semester with all the exams been completed. The management has arranged for a surprise party with DJ for the students .During the party ,annika was with her friends and shivaay with his classmates.They enjoyed their day dancing like maniacs and many other events were also conducted like treasure hunt ,some common competitions like stuffs.

The DJ event was held at the auditorium.

After sometime ,annika excused herself and went to the washroom .Splashing some water on her face ,she looked at the mirror to find raagini entering the place with a sad face .She seemed to have cried ,

A- you're ok ?

R- no ,I'm not .It's hurting as hell (she reacted immediately),I've never faced rejection in my life ...but now (she started crying)

A- hey ,Raagini it's ok.Calm down ,I've never seen you like this before .If you don't mind ,shall I know what happened?(she hesitated )

R- your friend shivaay, he's the reason for this .(she blamed )

A- what ?(shocked ) what did he do ?

R- you don't know annika ,from the beginning I somewhere liked him .Through the days ,my feelings gradually turned into love for him .And today ,I even proposed him .But...but he rejected ...he rejected stating that he already loves someone else .

A- kya...did ,did he say ,he loves someone ?

R- yes, he said it .He said that there's no place for anyone else in his heart other than her ,he is in love with someone else .It's the truth,

Shock ,wasn't which annika felt at that instant .For some reason ,her eyes glistened in tears but it didn't flow down. The only thought running in her mind was ,is shivaay really in love with someone? She doesn't even know that whether it was truth or not but still ,she knew that it would bring a brutal pain in her heart if it was certain. She wanted to keep faith on him ,but on the other side she had already feared for the worst .Suddenly everything seemed terrible for her and she hated the fact that she had become this much dependent on him .But keeping things aside ,she remembered their marriage ...which wasn't any pre-planned or wasn't any arranged marriage even.So there is a chance for him to have ...to have ,...no she couldn't even think of it .

Without replying anything, she moved out from there .Watching her state ,raagini who was crying all this while just wiped her tears and smirked wildly."agar vo mera nahi hai,tho teri bhi nahi ho saktha hai annika "she thought.

(I didn't want to elaborate the scene where Raagini proposes shivaay. He did reject her ,but his reason was a genuine one as he admitted that he haven't ever felt anything like that for her .But she who thought it's because of annika for whom shivaay rejected her ,thought of bringing a quarrel between them )

Here annika was walking through the corridor when Gauri came there .

G- hey annika, where were you ?Come ,it's our favourite song being played now .(she pulled annika along and went inside the auditorium )

With loud sound of the music, annika's ears was still tangled with raagini's words .She couldn't act normal anymore ,

A- gauri, I'm not feeling well .I'll leave ,

G- kya huwa annika? Pareshan lag rahi ho ?

A- nothing, headache hai bas.

G- wait ,I'll call shivaay .Vo uss taraff haina?

A- it's ok gauri ,I'll manage .

Saying this she walked towards the door ,

G- annika...annika wait ,

Gauri tried following her but since the hall was filled with crowd ,she lost her in the middle .Here ,annika somehow managed to pull out from the crowd and when she was about to open the door ,one of her known classmate stopped her .

A- what is it ashwin ?(she asked being irritated )

As- come on annika ,itni jaldi chale jaaoge? Let's enjoy ,last day hai come on yaar

He tried holding her hands for a dance ,but she denied.

A- nahi ashwin ,just move .

As- annik...

Before he could speak further ,he halted seeing shivaay pulling annika behind him and standing inbetween them .

S- vo bol rahi haina ,she isn't interested. So leave (he ordered with an angry attitude)

Ashwin ,muttered a sorry and moved from there .

Shivaay noticed her dull face ,

S- annika? aap teek haina?(concerned )

Without replying anything she pulled out his hold from her wrist and walked out from the hall leaving him worried .He asked gauri ,about it .

G- pata nahi ,she told me that she has headache .Koi problem hai?

S- nahi ,I'll take care .Don't worry ,

He searched for her throughout the campus, suddenly he saw her walking past the gates and immediately rushed to follow her.

S- annika , wait annika...annika (he was walking just behind her trying to stop her )

But she didn't stop ,and by the time since it was early night already the cops who were on rounds in that area saw this scene and approached towards shivika.

C- hey Mr,why are you troubling her?

Before shivaay could answer, annika spoke.

A- he's my husband sir ,there's nothing wrong.

She admitted with a bold reaction while holding his hand,making him feel touched.

The cop left.

A- I'm sorry shivaay ,I'm troubling you very much ...sorry .(she said looking into his eyes )

S- annika,just tell me what's your problem ?Suddenly what happened to you ?(he asked with a worried face )

A- yahi ...yahi mera problem hai ,I've become so much used with you and your care .I'm not ready for this ,...no...(she stammered while tears flowed from her eyes )It's really paining shivaay ,I don't know how I would have reacted for this when we were newly married . But ...but ,after living with you ...after understanding you now ...I can't, I...
