Morning

Annika woke up first,and found herself lying on someone.She moved her head forward to find him sleeping peacefully hugging her securely close to him.At first she was shocked but soon her lips curved up witnessing his cute face.It didn't take more time for him to open his eyes.At once he saw her adoring him he again closed his eyes.

A- don't act shivaay,I know you're awake.(slapping him lightly)

He slowly opened his eyes and acted as though he was asleep all this time.

S- what did you say?(he asked innocently)

A- first tell me how we both landed like this.As far I remember I was thirsty at night so I drank some water,and I know nothing after that.

Then shivaay told what just happened yesterday,how she drank the champagne thinking it to be water.

A- Oh my God,did I trouble you too much (she asked with a puppy face)

He nodded negatively.

A- oh shit,let me get up first. I'm literally on you.

She tried to move but still feeling his hands locked around her waist she again looked at him .He questioned through his eyes to which she rolled her eyes and indicated to take a look at his hands.And immediately he released his grip on her and they both stood up.She couldn't stop her laughter when she found him wearing a nighty.

A- what is this shivaay?(and continued laughing)

He removed it and threw it away.

A- plss don't tell me it was my work(she asked being doubted)

S- no ,no I wore it as I was feeling cold.(he lied)

A- kitna joot bolthi ho tum?(crooking her eyes)

S-(shocked)nahi...(interrupted)

She silently neared him making him move backwards.Without halting she moved towards him until he hit the railing.

S- what...what happened a..nnik..a?(he stammered)

Her face moved close to him ,his breath was hovering and increasing through the each passing second.She held his chin and turned his face facing his cheecks and he had already closed his eyes thinking , she hasn't recovered from yesterday's night yet.

A- you can never lie to me shivaay,tumhare kanji aankein muje sabkuch keh dete.(she whispered in his ears)

Then she chuckled noticing him standing with his eyes shut.Feeling the prevailing silence he opened his eyes to find none.He started blushing reminiscing the previous moment.Even if it was the tiniest gesture from her ,it would surely bring all colours on his face.

Still living the moment he came downstairs and saw his brothers waiting for him there.

R- O,do you remember when baiya went upstairs in search of bhabi?(he asked in a teasing tone)

Om- Hmm,12.45 at night.

R- and what's the time now?

O- morning 7.30

S- ok guys stop it.Uhh ...vo annika .....kal rath.

R- it's ok baiya ,we know everything.

S- what?how?

R- we both came to the terrace .

S- and--- what were we--- doing when you came--- there(he paused after every word)

Immediately Omru started laughing at their brother.

Om- don't be sacred shivaay ,we went down soon.(smiling)

S- chaltha hoon mein.(he rushed from there )

While omru gave a teasing smile to each other.

After sometime

Since they missed the bus shivika were going by car to college.

Annika was playing games on shivaay's mobile when she saw the message notification .It was message from the college,mentioning his mark's in the previous cycle test.

A- Smart Singh Oberoi haan?

S- matlab?

A- I used to get caught at home for getting low marks , I've given mummy's number in college so this message will directly reach her first. And after that she would start giving me boring lectures.

S- waise,kitna naam donge aap muje(he chuckled)Cute Singh Oberoi aur ab Smart Singh Oberoi .

A- tum ho ...smart ,cute aur...

S- aur?(looking at her)

Suddenly out of nowhere a car came and hit them with full force due to which their car imbalanced and hit a tree, and halted there .Shivika lost their consious .

Shivaay gained his consious first ,but to his shock he felt his hands tied up and on top of that he was blindfolded.

S- annika....annika aap teek haina annika(he shouted being worried)

Hearing his voice she woke.

A- shivaay (his face showed relief),kahan ho tum .My hands...my hands are tied and I my eyes...Shivaay

S- annika even my hands are tied up,I don't know what's going on.Don't worry annika ,I'll...(he tired pulling to hands to get free)

Instantly the cloth tied around his eyes was removed and he was stunned to witness daksh standing infront of him with a devilish smirk on his face.Shivaay's eyes turned red in anger when he found annika tied up with a pillar opposite to him.

S- tum?

D-Long time haan ,what did you think?you will marry her and I will just bless you both and leave the game?Remember this is only the beginning. (With an evil reaction)

While annika's face was stiffened knowing that the person was daksh.

Then,daksh slowly neared her.

D- hey baby,missed me?(inhaling her hair)

S - stop it daksh(he roared loudly)just stop it (trying to free himself)

D- kya stop it shivaay,I told you right.It's just the beginning.

Daksh untied her hands but before she could remove her blindfold he again tied her hands.(not around the pillar ,just tied)

And immediately annika tried running from there.

A- shivaay ,where are you?

S- I'm here annika come ,come forward .

When annika was about to move forward she instantly felt someone pulling her backwards.

A- ahhh.(wincing)

D- not so soon baby. (Pulling her hair)

S - daksh ,leave her .I said leave her damn it.(he shouted with full rage)

Daksh didn't bother and still troubled her more.Since annika's eyes were tied she was trembling to walk and struggled in his hold.

Shivaay couldn't bare it more,he pulled with all his strength and yes ,he did it.At once he rushed and punched him making him fall down .He then untied annika ,who was scared as hell immediately hugged him in reverse.

S- it's ok,annika mein hoon na kuch nahi hoga (holding her head)

She just pushed her whole weight on him and him her face into the crook of his neck. She didn't cry but at that moment she really needed him by her side .Daksh who saw this stood and tried to push annika .She didn't notice this but shivaay had already seen this and he carried her by holding her waist and placed her the other side.But during this whole action annika never moved from her position.She was still hiding inside him.
Shivaay on the other side kicked him again.

S - annika (cupping her face) it's your turn now.

She looked at him questioningly while he nodded in assurance.She maintained a determined face and moved towards daksh who was lying on the ground.She bent towards him and held his collar.

She gave a deathly glare and slapped hard on his face ,which made a terrific sound echoing through the place.

A- ye meri behen ke liye(she uttered in a dangerous voice)

Without wasting a second ,again she landed a tight slap on the other side which made him wince in pain.

A- this is for kidnapping me ,the other day.

Shivaay neared and stood beside her.

S- you can never do anything to us (encircling his hands around her shoulder)

He gave a dangerous look to him and moved from there with her.But daksh on the other side smirked .

D- I will never accept defeat anytime shivaay,Remember it's just the beginning (evil smile)

On the other side

While walking annika gradually intertwined her fingers with his's and her grip was very strong.And not only that totally, the ice on the cake was that she didn't show up any kind of hesitation while being close with him which she used to do before.

Shivika somehow managed to find an auto in the main road.Both remained silent until she noticed blood wavering out through his mouth slightly.

A- shivaay,(cupping his face)what---is this?(she was terribly scared)

By the time shivaay realized that he was bleeding,but he himself didn't know the reason as he wasn't hurt anywhere around the face even. Annika started wiping the blood with her stole but it wasn't halting. To her misfortune,shivaay just rested on her shoulder and lost his consious which scared the hell out of her.

A- shivaay(shrieked)baiya(to the auto driver) go to the nearby hospital .Could I borrow your mobile for a second plss?(she asked while crying)

He gave the mobile. She dialled to Om.

A- Om ,Annika bol rahi hoon.(he voice was shaking)

Om- annika,where are you both ?I've been calling you since long but it's switched off .Where are you?

A- Om I'll tell you everything but plss ,I'll share a location .Come there soon,plss

Om- what's the problem annika?you seem to be tensed,where is shivaay?

A- Om I'll tell you everything,plss come here soon.

Om- ok.

They reached a hospital nearby,and shivaay was rushed into the emergency ward.Annika stood outside watching him through the door.She couldn't bear the seen in front of her.Witnessing the man who used to bloom cheerfully like this ,in such a situation brought a sharp pain in heart.

When she saw the doctor making his way out from the room ,she rushed to him.

A- Dr,How is shivaay ?He's fine right?

Dr- You are?

A- I'm his wife ,first tell me how is he?

Dr- He's been injected poison.

She trembled to stand listening to the Dr's statement.Her vision started to blur out,she held the wall to grab some support and spoke with stammering voice.

A- he would be fine right?(scared )

Dr- we are doing our best ,don't worry.(he left)

By the time Om arrived there.

Om- What happened annika?

She told him everything, and broke down not being able to control herself.And Om was trying to console her ,but he himself was worried for his brother.

After sometime

Om- Dr?

Dr- He's fine now ,If you had delayed then we would have lost him.

Annika felt a rushing relief reaching her heart , listening to the Dr.

A- can we meet him?

Dr- you can ,but he's still unconscious. It would take 2 hrs for him to be around.

Om- ok ,thank you very much Dr.

Then Annika and Om waited for him to revive.After sometime,they saw his eyes rumbling in movement.

Shivaay slowly opened his eyes to see his brother sitting next to him and annika who stood far ,still crying with her eyes fixed down.

S- aap kyun ro rahi hai annika?I'm fine.

But she wasn't the one to obey him today,her tears didn't leave her eyes.

S- Om,tell her not to cry.

A- chup kar tum(daring voice),what do you think haan?Even I'm a normal human being shivaay, when I see you in this condition automatically muje rona aa raha hai.What will I do ,you just scared the hell out of me shivaay.Ek minute ke liye ,meri jaan hi nikal gayi tumhe aise dekkar.(she showed some anger while crying)

S- even I can't see you crying annika.(he told in a pleading tone)

A- I'm not able to stop it.I'll just come. (She left)

S -ani...

Om- shivaay,she needs time.She'll be alright.

At the same time the Dr arrived inside the ward.

Dr- where is your Mrs?(he was tensed)

S- why Dr?what happened?

Dr- I need to talk to her immediately.

Om-Any problem Dr?

S- You can tell us ,anything serious?

Dr- you are his brother right?

Om- yes.

Dr- I need to talk to you .

S- Dr plss ,just tell what is it?

Dr- (taking a deep breath)ok,I asked the nurse to take some tests and scans to know how far the poison has mixed with your blood.

S- so...

Dr- everything is fine but (he hesitated)

Om- but what Dr?

Dr- we've diagnosed a block in his heart.

Both were shocked listening to him.

Om- what are you saying Dr?(shocked)

Dr- yes ,it is true .

S- is ,is it curable?

Dr- surgery can do but...

Om- just be clear Dr.But what (he shouted)

Dr- diagnization has been delayed ,so there is only 30 % chance to be very honest.

Om couldn't hear more ,he turned the other side and cried.

S- but Dr,I haven't felt any sort of pain till now .Is it normal?

Dr- in some cases ,it is.

Shivaay was extremely shocked ,knowing about his health but soon he gained some strength and spoke.

S - Dr,could you do me a favour,plss don't inform this to my wife.

Dr- no, I can't do it.It's against the rules.

Om- shivaay ,what are you saying?

S- plss Dr,she won't be able to bear this. I myself don't want to be the reason for her sorrow plss.

Dr- I can't do this ,I should've first informed it to your wife. She has the right to know .

S- but ,try to understand Dr.....

Like this shivaay was continuously trying to convince the Dr,when suddenly annika came inside the ward.

A- Dr,aap yahan hai?I was searching for you in your room. I just came to ask you ,he's fine right?(eying shivaay)even if he needs to be admitted here for 2 ,3 days ,no problem.We want him recovered completely.

The Dr,immediately looked at shivaay who was signalling him not to reveal anything to her.

Dr- he's fine ,you can take him home.

A- thank you Dr.

Shivaay sighed in relief.

Then Om went with the Dr,to discuss certain things leaving shivika in the ward.

She sat beside him with a smile.

A- ek din mei ,kya kya hogaya na.

S- bahut kuch hogaya (he told lost in his thoughts)Annika?

A- hmm

S- Were you scared?

A- when?

S - when I fainted in the auto.

A- scared? I told you right?jaan hi nikal gayi thi meri .(she expressed)I  always knew that you won't let anything happen to me but I'm not like that,every problem in your life is because of me .Even now ,you're here because of me .I'm sorry(with teared eyes)

S-annika,kya keh rahe hai aap?(taking her hands into his's) you are not the reason behind all this.I used to tell you everytime right, what is meant to happen (interrupted)

A- will surely happen?

S- (smiling )yes.

A - and I also used to tell you one thing everytime.

S- kya?

A- itni acha mat ho mere saath,mein utni  achi nahi hoon.(while he smiled and nodded negatively)

Our love will protect us like armor and heal our wounds like medicine💞
