Shivaay carefully made her sit inside the car and called om and informed him .Annika who has still not recovered from the fear just sat silently with head resting on the front seat. As soon as gauri came she instantly opened the door and hugged her (gauri stood on the ground and annika was inside the car)

G-your fine right(crying),I was so scared(rubbing her shoulders)
A-hmm(nodding between her sobs)
G-kya huwa haa?(pulling out from the hug)

Instantly shivaay came near and insisted her ,not to ask her anything as she was already scared and gauri also understood the situation and agreed with him.

Then all the four were returning in car.Shivaay felt his heart to be bleeding when he saw her wiping her silent tears continuously(through the interior mirror of the car)He was not able to concentrate on the road ,his gaze was constantly changing from the road to her...

A-(realizing something)gauri...mummy ?
G-haan annika,(holding her)don't worry I told her that we'll be late today but she has already called me 10 times.Do one thing ,call her and tell that we're returning home .If you inform her ,she'll  feel good(giving the phone)

But immediately shivaay stopped the car and looked behind.And annika slowly turned her gaze towards him with questioning eyes and looked down again...

G-kya huwa?
S-I don't think you should take her home in this state(eyeing annika) ,If you don't mind... you both can stay in my home today.(again looking at her)
A-nahi...it's ok thank you for your concern(not looking at anything in particular)

Shivaay was hurt but he didn't show up...

G-annika ...he's right,if aunty see's you in this condition she will get scared .Try to understand annika... ,and don't worry he is our classmate.We can trust him.

Annika thought for sometime and nodded positively being impassive in the decision.Then she called her mom...

K-hello.
A-mummy(softly)
K-annika...kahan hai tu ?deko itni late ho gayi,and where is your phone why is it switched off(worried)
A-(closed her eyes and automatically tears rolled down on her cheecks .Gauri immediately held her hands and supported her)meri phone dead ho gayi mummy(controlling herself)
K-annika?are you fine beta ...
A-haan mummy teek hoon mein(trying to convince her)aju...aju so gayi?
K-he was waiting for you all this time annika and now only I made him sleep .He has asked me to wake him up when you return.
A-(smiled weakly)mummy vo...I'm staying in Roshini's home today .We have to complete our project so I won't be coming home today. (Hesitating)
K-kyun?no annika ...you know right I won't allow you to stay outside.
A-mummy,just for today ....(and she tried to convince her)
K-(sighing)chalo teek hai,but reach here as early as possible tomorrow haan?
A-hmm...aur haan ,don't forget your tablets.
K-acha teek hai,khyal rakna tum.(concerned)
A-ji mummy,bye.(and she hung up the call)

All this time shivaay was just adoring her behaviour, although she herself was in a vulnerable state still she cared for her family .He was not looking at her instead listened to her keenly while driving.

And they reached OM,annika got down from the car and walked upto the main door .Not being able to bear the pain (hurt on her feet)she slipped suddenly and held his hands conversely.Realizing it she turned and looked at him blankly.(and took her hands out).Shivaay immediately signalled gauri to help her out.And she went with gauri ,by the time they reached home shivaay had already arranged a doctor.Annika was inside the room(shivaay's),when the doctor was about to go inside...

S-doctor,her feet are bleeding , she also has fever and...(he didn't leave the doctor to speak)
D-relax Mr.Oberoi, I'll see to her.(and went inside the room)

After treating her the doctor said that she's fine but the temperature is quite high and prescribed certain medicines...

D-I've already given some tablets for fever, check the temperature after 4 hours if it still doesn't deviate then give her these tablets (giving the prescription)
S-ok doctor thank you.

Annika was sitting on the bed and thinking about something not looking at anything in particular. When her eyes turned towards the mirror ,something caught her attention and she slowly got up and moved towards the mirror.Automatically her fingers reached her hairline and she was shocked witnessing red patches on her hairline.While she stood shocked with questioning eyes ,she felt someone opening the door and  instantly she shifted her eyes towards the door with her hands still fixed on her hairline. It was shivaay who came inside ...

S-vo...aap ke liye kapde(not meeting her eyes, he just kept the bag on the table )

And he was about to leave but something pulled his eyes and attached them towards her and instantly got locked with her's.Both of them reminisced the moment in the harbour at the same time (and shared a deep eye lock)

But soon shivaay realized it and turned around and was about leave...

A-ek minute (hesitating)

And he stopped and looked at her...

A-thank you ....thank you so much(with glistening eyes)
S-no ...you don't have to...aap ...aap please rest kijiye.(he spoke softly and went from there)

Then she changed and slept in his room on his bed while gauri slept on the couch.(shivika's bed is meant only for them😉)

It was around 3AM in the morning when shivaay slowly entered the room and went near her.He hesitantly placed his hands on her forehead (fearing not to disturb her sleep).He felt relieved as her condition was better now,but instantly he pulled back when she moved in her sleep while hugging the pillow close to her chest.He just stood there and adorned her angelic face which seemed to be dull...

S-kuch nahi hoga aapko(mumbled assuringly and went from there)

The next morning annika woke up and went to restroom to change.When she pulled out the dress from the bag ,something striked her mind .The dress exactly matched with her taste and preference, infact it was a perfect choice for her .She would have not doubted if it was just one but no...all the dresses inside the bag were found to be according to her choice.But realizing it was getting late she shrugged of her thoughts and changed.

Then annika and gauri were searching for shivaay to inform him before leaving ,like this they reached near the dining area,where pinky was sitting...

Pinky-haaye.(looking at them)..aap log shivaay ki friends hai na(with a wide smile)

Annika remained silent while gauri answered her...

P-acha...,baito baito let's eats...
A-nahi mummy(in a flow but after realizing what she said)sorry aunty vo..(cutted by pinky)
P-it's ok beta ,aunty se jyada mummy achi lagthi hai (lovingly)

Annika gave a pleasant smile ,after too much arguments they agreed to join for breakfast .Then she saw shivaay and om making their way from kitchen with food in their hands. Pinky served everyone and sat beside shivaay.

While eating annika was again immersed in her thoughts when she found all the dishes made ,were actually  her all time favourite ones .She found something strange and felt baffled. She was brought out from her trance by pinky...

P-Oh my mata shivaay...(dragging)tu itni kam kyun kaa rahi ho haan?Arey meri ek hi heera beta ho tum ...ye lo (taking a morsel and feeding him)
S-mom...(embarrassed)
P-khao ...(feeding him) kyun aisa kar rahe ho,ohhhhh...I get's it tum oily food khaogi tho belly aajayega naa(smiling sheepishly)...it's ok shivaay ,ham exercise kar lethe hai haan(nodding)
S-mom plss(glaring at her)

Here annika was biting her inner lips to hide her smile(with her gaze fixed down on her plate ) but it was clearly noticed by shivaay,instead of feeling embarrassed he just felt happy on seeing her smile, after all it was the only thing he  would wish for throughout his lifetime.

You're too far for my hands to hold you ,but too near for my heart to love you💞
