Two days have passed since shivaay had gained conscious and all the family members were extremely happy and thankful to God for keeping their son safe. He was yet to be discharged ,so annika and pinky were staying with him at the hospital all these days .

At present annika was scolding and feeding a grumpy shivaay who hated the tasteless food provided in hospital.

S- annika plss ,salt bhi nahi hai isme .Plss (he pleaded cutely )

A- tum na ,mummy is the right person who could deal with you .Wait

She then asked pinky to feed him stating that he's too stubborn. Pinky started dumping big big morsels into his mouth making him glare annika who was smiling witnessing his helpless condition.

P- haa beta last ,see it's the last. (Indicating the plate )

S- nahi mom .It's worst ,I can't. (turning all sides )

P- You have to ,yelo ...ye aaa (and she somehow pushed the last morsel inside his mouth ).Hogaya ,how much we have to struggle haan ?

S- try one plate of it then you will know my difficulty (he murmured to himself )

P- did you say something?

S- kuch nahi (smiling widely )

P- annika ,tum iske saath raho .I've to leave to OM ,kuch kaam hai muje.I'll bring your clothes while returning haan ?

A- ok ,mummy .

S- oh my God! annika ,(realizing something)

A- what happened shivaay ?

S- kal aapki exam haina?

A- haan ,so what ?I ain't going to attend it .

S- matlab ?what are you saying annika ?

A- how can I leave you here and go for the exams .I won't be able to concentrate even .I'll just clear the papers next year with you .

S- aap galat kar rahe hain annika .Why do you have to waste a semester for this .I'm totally fine right,then what's the problem now ?Just go and do well ,plss.

A- par shivaay (interrupted)

S- mere liye ?

She just silently stared at him for a minute and gave a lengthened smile with a nod indicating her acceptance.

Evening

Annika was present in the ward with him ,seated at the cornered couch she was preparing for tomorrow's exam.While he ,on the other side played a silent observer .Registering her each and every tiny actions,he could do nothing but just smile when there was a knock .It was Karunya

A- aao mummy .

K- shivaay beta ,kaise ho tum ?

S- ji maa ,I'm fine .

K- what are you doing here annika ,go and study .I've come here to meet shivaay ,tum apni kaam continue kar sakthi ho.

S- haa haan ,annika it's getting late .Continue your work orelse you might not be able to complete the syllabus.

A- so you both are in one team now ,isn't it?

The both just smiled at her .

A- fine ,

She took her book and started learning,while they both had a good healthy conversation.Having Immersed herself into the topic ,still she can't help but just travel her eyes around him through few seconds between her recites. His behaviour with Karunya always made her go aww on him.Witnessing his kind yet gentleness ,she feels proud on him.He treats her like his own mother and that's what makes it special because it doesn't happen with anyone so easily .With all these passing on in her mind she didn't realize that she was staring at him for the past two minutes which actually broke when he noticed and asked her raising his eyebrows to which she shook her head and blinked her eyes in negotiation. From when did she become like this ? She was certainly noticing him from his very small move ,this was so much new to her.He was rubbing his neck while speaking and here she was already smiling looking at it. Why? Haven't she seen him doing that before? Or is there something which is brewing inside her making her go through all this ?

The next day

Dr had informed that shivaay can be discharged by today evening after taking certain final tests to make sure of his condition .Annika had gone to the college to attend her exam.Pinky and Rudy were present with shivaay in the hospital.

R- baiya ,your getting bored right .Let's watch any movie.

He downloaded a movie and both were watching it on his mobile.

R- baiya baiya !!dekiye na .Ye heroine kitna koobsurat hai ...(he said dreamily )haina ?She's my favourite!

S- I don't think so.(rolling his eyes )

R- have you gone blind baiya ?I mean look at her ,what's your problem with her ?

S- pata nahi .

R- hmmm! Sab samajtha hoon mein.Aapko bhabi ke bina kisi aur ladki dikthahi nahi haina? (raising his eyebrows)

S- what ?

R- I know everything baiya ,Om ne muje sab bathaya .Vaise ,tell me one thing .When are you going to propose your love to bhabi ?

S- ye Om bhi na ....fine,dekho Rudy .Annika shouldn't know about this ,Ok?

R- I won't tell her anything,but when are you going to tell her ?

S- Rudy,you know one thing ? I love her,but I haven't told her this yet and she's already my wife now.Like ,I have her with me ,I got her easily. What if I propose her and she accepts it?

R- won't you be happy if she accepts?

S- no Rudy,it isn't like that .I don't want her to get compromised with my proposal.It shouldn't be any sort of satisfaction,like she might accept me because I'm her husband .I don't need that ,it shouldn't end up to be a deal .I want her to love me (he emphasized ) When I feel she is in love with me then I will directly propose her ,and I'm ready to wait for that day till eternity.

R- wah baiya ! I've never seen you speaking like this anytime.

S -when your in love ,all this just happens (he said while punching Rudy's shoulder slightly)

Evening

Annika directly went to OM as she knew shivaay must have been discharged .

P- annika you've come ?

A- ji aunty ,shivaay didn't come yet ?

P- yeah annika ,they are on their way .He is coming with Omru.

Just then they heard the horn sound .

P- look ,they have arrived .I'll bring the aarti,ask them to wait.

When pinky was about to take the aarti daadi stopped her and asked annika to stand along with shivaay.

A - but daadi ...

D- annika ,shivaay aur tum alag nahi hai beta .Vo ek katra se bahar aagaya hai ab, uska patni hokkar tum uska hissa ban chukki ho.So ,jo uska hai vo teri bhi hai hmm?Pray to God that from now onwards there should be no problems in your life ,you both should lead a peaceful life .

Annika smiled and stood beside shivaay ,without any hesitation she held his hand and intertwined her fingers with his which made him look at her in surprise .That second she just gave him a pleasant smile which elongated to produce a blissful eye lock which was soon broken when pinky kept the teeka.

Early night

In shivika's room

Annika had already slept as she had spent the past night completely with her books .So she couldn't stay awake more .Shivaay who just took his side on the cot heard his phone ringing which was placed on the table kept at annika's side.

He leaned his elbow on the bed and stretched past her to take his mobile .When he was about to take it ,his elbow loosened due to which he lost his balance .At the same time annika casually opened her eyes to freeze the next second witnessing him just in front.There was nil gap between them such that their noses started brushing the other already. Annika whose eyes seemed to be blown up all this time just relaxed after knowing it was him which was clearly noticed by him.Her eyes had zero hesitation, zero nervousness which would actually happen in her everytime when he's near.And on top of this ,she did realize herself that she isn't the same annika because with him so near to her she didn't do anything rather just lost herself into his blue orbs which were captivating to her.He ...being the whole lot of innocence looked at her with a cute puppy face not even realizing that the girl in front was somewhere enjoying this moment with him.It wasn't her fault ,this cute man of her's would sweep any woman out of her feet.Intereseting point here is ,he doesn't even know that he's actually doing that. With all her blushy cells reaching her cheecks she tried to look away and turned her head the other side.Which gradually brought his nose in contact with her earlobe .Feeling his breath near her ear she just closed her eyes not being able to handle this sudden proximity .

Their dreamy moment was broken when again he heard the phone ringing. Immediately he moved to his side .

S- ahh ,vo ...(interrupted)

A- before you start. Sorry mat kaho na plss....You were about to take the mobile and you slipped right ?(she dominated )

S- you understand me so well annika .(he smiled )

A- aur nahi tho kya ?Mein tera bivi hoon na ,who else could know you better than me (she spoke raising her invisible collar)

He ,who didn't expect this answer from her just stared her with a grin noticing which she realised what she had uttered few seconds back and instantly she closed her face with the duvet letting out all her blushes inside it.

S -(chuckling) so jaahiye.

A- how on earth  will I sleep now?What are you doing to me shivaay !!(she mummered to herself )

S- kuch kaha aapne?

A- nahi(pulling out the duvet) ,tell  me one thing .You ....are a good husband ,infact you're just perfect !but do you feel the same about me .What am coming to ask is ,I know that you like me as a friend...but ....but...do ...you like me as   ...your  ....your wife ?

She stammered but while asking this ,her full concentration was fixed into his eyes trying to pull out an answer through his eyes before his words could react.Listening to this ,he feared that without his own knowledge ,he might start admitting his love for her.Because not only the question ,she itself seemed to be demanding a positive response from him which was depicted through her face .

A- I'm asking you this because,our marriage wasn't pre decided .It just happened suddenly ...(interrupted)

S- annika,you don't have to explain anything. My answer is ,I'm happy that I married you .I feel happy for having you as my wife. I feel like ,it could only be you or none else .(he gave this answer while equally contributing to the eyelock)

The last line just flushed her heart contentedly,with that heat of the moment she gave him a tight hug and whispered good night in his ears before hiding herself inside the bedsheet .It was indeed a very good night for him but sleep was far away from his eyes though ,he just laid back smiling like a maniac .That love-struck innocent shivaay in him was charged to 100% by getting just a mere  hug from her.

Wife:I love you
Husband:I love you too.
Wife:prove it,scream it to the world
Husband:(whispers in her ear) I love you .
Wife:why'd you whisper it to me?
Husband:because you are my world!💞
