Since it was the holidays passing by , Shakthi had asked shivaay to accompany him to the office .Moreover, he wanted him to take over the company as soon as he completes his studies,Shivaay being equally interested in this field was very much excited for today.

A - seems like someone is hell excited for work today ?

She asked looking at his image on the mirror who was struggling with his cuff buttons .

S- hmm! thoda nervous bhi ,

He sighed and let his hands down without buttoning the cuffs. Inserting the lollipop into her mouth ,she pulled his hands and tried buttoning .

A- nervous ....rah....oge,tho aisa... hi hoga .Hmmm,haan! Ho...gaya

She tried speaking allocating the candy aside in her tongue,while he nodded with a smile around his lips watching his cutest wife currently playing his motivator now .

S- vaise ,since it's a special day ...shouldn't we start it with sweets?

He asked with a mischievous grin surrounding his face.

A- arey ,you could have told me na? I would have prepared something,and moreover you don't like sweets right ?

Poor she,replied without knowing what was running in her naughty husband's mind.

S- Yeah, I don't like sweets, par...

Before even she could contemplate anything, she saw him savouring the lollipop gripping her hand in which she held the candy. For a second ,her eyes just widened in surprise.Tasting the oval orange flavoured candy ,he opened his eyes to find her looking at him with biting her lower lips as though she was feeling the taste too. And she stood with her hand extended towards his lips still not having realized that he had released his hold long back .

S -annika?(he used his husky voice )

She didn't respond.

S- annika ...

He called waving his hands infront ,and immediately she wiggled out from her dreamland and tried not to face him being embarrassed.

A- kya ?(without looking at him )

S- tho mein chaloon? (He asked playing innocent)

A- hmm ,(she nodded without looking)

Reverting back after moving a step forward,he neared her ear pushing her hair aside he whispered "bahut meeta tha!"And she could do nothing but , crush close her eyes and lean onto the dressing table as literally every damn thing in that moment granted a reason for her to feel shy.It was only when she checked with the sound of the door closing after he left ,she triggered opening her eyes. Only God knew why she had kicked the dustbin down during her session of behaving maniac around the room,facepalming herself infront of the mirror she reminisced his deeds and once again she smacked her head, complying for being a blushy little girl.

It was noon when annika reached her home, being it a quite long time since she had met her mom, she decided to pay a surprise visit today.With no response, she pressed the calling bell continuously. Arjun would have left to school, but where was her mummy? Is she having her noon nap ? She thought with a frown , sighing she instantly dialled her number.And the only thing she could hear was the caller tune which too ended after its entire play slot ."Kya kar rahi hai ye mummy?" She murmured and dialled again. She already rolled her eyes listening to the full tune again, and thank God!the call was attended somehow at the end .

A- what are you doing? Does someone take this much time to attend a call ? Teek hai ,ab darwaza kolo

She let her words at once without listening to the other side ," hello" came the voice .On hearing an entirely different male voice her eyes widened in shock .

A- hello ,who's this ?

"Vo I found this mobile here ,actually there was an accident here ...that lady ...shayad,"

A- kya? Kiski accident ? (Shocked) Firstly, it's my mother's mobile which you are using, where is she ?

She spoke worriedly suppressing him from answering ,

" aapki maa ko hi accident huwa hai ,usse hospital leke gaye hain"

She froze listening to his words ,before even she could comprehend it, her legs trembled and she stumbled back to get hit by the door.

"Hello...hello?.."

A- hello,which ....which hospital ?ad ..dress ...bathayiye

Her lips quivered totally struggling to push her voice out ,

She couldn't stop her tears which weren't leaving her eyes throughout .Finding an auto, she mentioned the address and sat in one corner leaning onto the side.It seemed a long travel ,which made her state even more worse as every passing minute her heart started thumping more thinking of her mother . She tried calling shivaay ,but her network was low . She instantly opened WhatsApp trying to send a voice message atleast.

A- shivaay,...mummy mummy ka accident huwa hai.Pata....nahi kya karun ,bahut dar lag raha... hai shivaay. I need you ,ye hospital ki address hai .Jaldi aao ,plss(she cried )

She sent the message along with the address ,but the clock symbol didn't even turn a tick ."Shit , Signal hi nahi hai " she told being frustrated hearing which the auto driver informed since it was an interior area ,there were less possibilities for network and she sighed worriedly .

Shivaay returned OM at 1.30 pm as his mother had strictly ordered him not to have lunch outside ,

In shivaay's room

P- shivaay ? Did your papa push you with work the first day itself ? Kitna thagge huwe lag rahi ho ,

S- I'm fine mom , I'll just fresh up and come .Vaise, annika kahan hai?

P- arey ,mein tho bool gayi.Vo annika apni maa se milne gayi hai.

S- acha .....,teek hai

That very instant ,he felt something. Like an instinct mentioning something wasn't good.He thought of calling her but halted thinking it might disturb her as he knew that it's been quite long since she had met her mother. He could wait ,he convinced .

He came out from the washroom when he heard his phone ringing flashing annika's home, with landline digits .

S- hello,

K- shivaay ,kaise ho tu beta?

S- haan maa I'm fine ,Aap kaisi hai aur aju?

K- haan ,ham sab teek hai beta .Vo actually, I used to call annika everyday but since I missed my mobile in the market today ,phone nahi karpayi. Tho ,she must be trying for my number. Pata nahi ,I couldn't reach her number. Agar paas hai tho bulawo na,

Shivaay was startled, he was thinking that she has gone to her home but now ...she wasn't there too...where is she ?

K- hello? hello shivaay ?

S- haan ...maa ,she has gone to the temple with daadi .I'll tell her to call you back when she returns ,

K- teek hai beta ,

He lied not wanting to tense her, ofcourse anyone in this situation would get scared. He was blank ,where did she go? Even gauri had left to her hometown for holidays so ,she couldn't be with her.

S- kahan ,hai aap annika ?(he murmured being entirely worried while dialling her number which voiced unreachable)
