Weekend

Pinky pestered shivaay to accompany her for shopping and with no other go shivaay agreed to her .They both were in the store and pinky was busy in selecting sarees where as shivaay on the other hand has become frustrated because of his mother who had entered the shop 2 hrs before and still haven't chosen anything.He stood in one corner of the room and started fidgeting his mobile to beat the boredown when pinky...

P-shivaay ye saree achi haina(showing it to him)kitni prettys hai!!
S-(making wired faces)mom...are you serious, matlab itni loud colours(nodding negatively)
P-tum chup kar,you don't know anything about this .

She kept the saree aside and again tried to select something for her.

At the same time karunya (annika's mother)had come to the same shop and she was also checking for sarees. She took and glanced the saree which pinky has just replaced and pinky noticed this...

P-oh my mata,(pulling it from her)kya kar rahi hai aap?ye saree meine pehle choose kiya hai.Shivaay(facing him)  tum meri choice ko lekkar mazak kar rahi thi naa,dekho kitni demand hai meri choice wali saree ka ,everyone want's this (smirking)
K-excuse me ,I didn't prefer this .I was about the take the one which is below this...see(pointing the other one),waise bhi who would like to wear such bright colours (nodded negatively and went from there leaving back a grumpy pinky)

Here shivaay was trying hard to control his smile but he literally failed when he witnessed pinky's cute grumpy face...

S-mom,it's ok each one has their own taste .Aapki taste utni achi nahi hai, par achi hai(convincing)
P-haina,I knows(smiling)...that lady was just lieing. I caught her naa ,so that why she lied but otherwise she actually liked this ,I'm telling you(she spoke confidently)
S-(smiling at his adorable mom's antics)acha teek hai,you want this right .We'll buy this only ...ok, come.

While paying bill at the counter ,shivaay saw that karunya who stumbled to walk and suddenly fainted.He immediately rushed to her and sprinkled water but she didn't wake up .

P-shivaay,ham isko hospital lekar chalthe hain,pata nahi kya huwa isko chalo...

They both took her to the nearby hospital and admitted her .To inform her family shivaay took her phone from her bag but once he saw the homescreen he was shocked (it contained a pic of annika -karunya-arjun).

S-iska matlab wo annika ki maa hai(thinking)
P-shivaay what are you doing ,soon... call someone from her family.
S-haan(and called annika)

A-hello mummy kahan ho tum?why it's getting so late haa,come soon.
S-annika (softly)
A-kaun hai?maa...(confused)
S-annika I'm shivaay.
A-shivaay ...it's my mom's mobile .How come its with you?
S-Annika plss be patient and listen ,don't panic(calmly)
A-kya...muje dar lag raha hai,jaldi bolo.

Then shivaay told her everything...

A-mummy(in the verge of crying)...mein abi aa rahi hoon city hospital haina ,teek hai.

She grabbed her scooty keys and rushed to the hospital .At the same time the doctor told that Karunya was fine now and she fainted due to low BP and on top of that she haven't had her breakfast .She gained her consious and saw pinky and shivaay talking to the doctor .Seeing her to be woken up shivaay came to her...

S-ab kaisi hai aap?Your fine right.
K-(nodding her head)thank you beta(smiling)
P-oh my mata...suba se kuch nahi kaya hai aap,I don't knows how people skip their meals, mujse nahi hoga kabhi(sighing)
S-mom(glaring)
P-I didn't tell anything wrong naa shivaay ,I was just advising her .Aap kabi aisa math kijiye hmm?
K-teek hai(smiling)

By the time annika reached the hospital and she came rushing to the ward being scared ...

A-maa(ran towards her)kya huwa ...(crying)kya huwa mummy ko ?shivaay?
S-aap plss roye math (concerned)maa teek hai.
K-haa annika I'm fine ,don't worry (trying to console her)
A-par ye kaise huwa ,did you skip your breakfast(glaring angrily)

Karunya nodded slightly being scared of her daughter.

A-Why your doing like this ,hamesha aisi karthi ho tum(being angry between her sobs)(turned towards shivaay)shivaay could you plss call the doctor .

Then shivaay came with the doctor.

A-Dr,she's fine right(scared)
Dr- don't worry, the patient is little weak but she's alright . It's better if she stays here tonight . You can take her home tomorrow.
A-teek hai ,thank you Dr.

Then karunya was injected and she slept.Shivika and pinky were outside the ward .

P-oh my mata annika,she's your mom.Small worlds haa...

But annika didn't react to it as she was bit upset ...

P-annika...(holding her by shoulders)kuch nahi hoga teri mummy ko hmm?
Annika slightly nodded her head.

Then pinky asked shivaay to stay with annika at the hospital ,annika objected first but at last she accepted reluctantly. Annika called gauri and asked her to take care of aju till she returns.

She was sitting on the chair outside the ward ,while shivaay came and sat beside her.He was quite,but suddenly annika spoke

A-how did I forget this (in a flow)
S-kya ?
A-thank you shivaay... ,you know one thing from the day we met I am put into a situation to say thanks to you everytime (smiling).It doesn't seem to be a coincidence, it's like you were destined to do all this for me.Anyways thank you so much for today.
S-(thinking)your right annika,I was destined to meet you ,fall for you and indeed to love you (admiring her).

At night

Shivaay was checking his phone when suddenly he felt some weight on his shoulder .He turned and instantly a smile occupied his lips to find annika peacefully sleeping encircling her elbows with his and laying her head on his shoulder.He slowly took his hands near her and adjusted her hair and tucked it behind her ears as it was disturbing his view while she just tightened her grip on him.From that moment he remained as a statue and tried hard not to move and disturb her sleep.He just wanted the time to stop and not extend to the next second because his annika was with him holding onto him hand in hand , what else he would wish for?

The next morning

Both of them were in a deep sleep ,annika's head was on his shoulder with her one hand tangled with his elbow and the other one intertwined with his fingers and his head was slightly laid on hers .Both woke up at the same time hearing some noise .Annika realized their position and slowly looked up to meet his blue orbs.They shared a deep eyelock ,shivaay tried to remove his hand from her's  but annika hadn't released his  fingers yet so he gently pulled out her hold on him (still his eyes being fixed with her's).

Nurse-Ms.Annika.

Instantly annika came out of her trance.

A-ahh...ahh..let's go inside(little embarrassed)
S-yeah .

And they both went inside the ward.
