Neil- sunehri mujhe ye sab nahi karna hai. thank you ki tumne sab kuch kaha jo khana hai..but now enough. I don't understand Avni and her thought process. And you promised me you are not here to do her vakalat.

S- ya I'm not. I have only stated facts till now. Tumne itne patiently mere har baat ko suna hai, toh ye aakhri baat bhi sunlo. Please. I will leave after that.

Neil- ok fine

Sunheri- ok close your eyes

Neil just stared at her

Sunheri- please, ek aakhri baat sunlo

Neil obliged

S- ok now picture yourself 10 years back when you were just married to avni ...no vidyut, no ragini pandit, no villains, just you two.....

Now her husband's ex girlfriend and child are living in the same house with you.

Neil cringed at her statement as he saw flashes of what had happened in her life

Juhi is creating a new drama everyday in your lives and even your family members start behaving differently.

Neil saw images of everything that had happened...how gracefully avni tried to handle everything but how hurt she was. How difficult all this was on her...

S- whats the reason for all this? She asked louder..who is responsible for this mess? Is it avni's fault? Why is she suffering neil? Why? Hasn't she had enough? What did she do to deserve this? She's a nice person so everyone just took advantage na...why did all this happen to her?

Neil sees flashes of what happened then- he sees himself talking to avni and he vocalizes without realising- its all my fault. I shouldn't have brought juhi home. I should have been careful so that the media wouldn't find out. I have hurt avni...

HE saw a FB of himself telling avni to go away because he cannot keep her happy. That he only causes her pain.

S- that's right neil. You are the reason for it all. You love avni but you have hurt her. She's suffering for no fault of hers. She should just go away...away from you so that she can have some peace in life. Correct?

Neil- yes...I don't want her to go but I cant stop her from going. Its my fault. I cant fix this mess. He said in a broken voice

S- suddenly she gave him a hard tap on his shoulder to snap neil out of his daze

n- took a second to get his bearings back-

Sunheri- So? How does it feel? To be the root cause of hurting someone you love? To hurt someone for no fault of theirs! To feel responsible for their suffering? To feel helpless about how to fix the situation?

Neil was silent as he absorbed sunheri's words

s- that feeling you have- now take that and multiply it 100 times. What if instead of just hurting someone you love you feel like they could actually die because of you, what if you feel like they could lose their family because of you...feeling like you are a curse? A bad omen?

Neil suddenly snapped and looked at sunheri in shock.

S- now think of avni's situation. After losing everything she ever held dear in life she only had you and if she felt like she could be the reason for anything even remotely harming you how would she feel... Do you think she'll ever come back to you when she feels like being with you will endanger you? do you think she's in any position to make any rational decisions anymore? She's broken- utterly and totally. She has lost all will to fight. Now its up to you what you want to do.

She stood up, patted his shoulder lightly and started walking away. As she was leaving she stopped at the door and said- but if I were you I would try to remember what avni must have told you when you asked her to leave you and held yourself responsible for all her pain and suffering.

And sunehri left, leaving neil reeling with the shock of all his thoughts and feelings which were all over the place now. He took deep calming breaths and as he did so he remembered avni's words to him then- jab tak ye saansein chal rahi hai na Neil tab tak main tumhe nahi chodungi. Tum chahoge bhi na, toh bhi nahi!

Suddenly neils demeanour changed. He had let go of his anger long enough to listen to sunheri and now he was seeing things in a different light...which he realized his family had already seen before him. Avni had not done anything deliberately...she really believed that if she stayed away they would all be safe and eventually happy and at peace! But he knew that was impossible. Even though she thought of herself as a curse, she was the light of his life. And when she left, she took the light with her and he had plunged into the depths of darkness and despair. And if he wanted his light back he would have to fight for her, fight with her and also make her fight.

He looked at avni's mangalsutra on his hand and whispered- jab tak ye saansein chal rahi hai na Avni tab tak main tumhe nahi chodunga. Tum chahogi bhi, tab bhi nahi!
