A- aunty ,jaldi kijiye na ? What if he wakes up ? Soon aunty ,

She wiggled in a hurry while pinky was fed up in practise of draping that saree on her ,

P- arey, teek se kadi raho na tum ? Kya idhar udhar kar rahi ho ! Hmm,hold this

She handled the arranged bottom fleets to her and bent down to work in aligning them properly .Annika who stood experimenting each fold in the fleets suddenly released her fingers leaving out the sequenced folds and instantly the cloth fell down on the ground making pinky get up and pass a daring glare on annika .

P- nahi ,it's over . Mujse nahi hoga nahi ,

She shook her head .

A- aunty ,aunty sorry. What will I do ? I was holding it tightly but pata nahi ye kaise gir gayi ? Meri pappu aunty haina aap ? Last try ,last try Haan !

Saying which she grabbed the saree from the ground and gave it to pinky ,

P- I'm doing this since last one hour ! Are you playing with me annika?

She sighed .

A- meine kaha haina ?last try .I won't even let out a single breathe from now onwards .Teek hai , aap continue kijiye

She assured and stood in attention ,playing a statue while pinky nodded in disbelief and carried on with the saree draping. And this time she somehow succeeded ,and draped it perfectly .

P- hmm ,hogaya !

A- hogaya? Aunty ,what about this?

She turned showing her hip region which was exposed to get a nice smack from pinky the next moment .

P- hey annika, kuch nahi hoga. Saree aise hi pehni jaathi hai .

A- matlab ,itna revealing !( opening her mouth in O shape ) Whatever , this not soo closed saree is traditional and my denims is a torn revealing dress according to you haina? (She argued )

P- you stand here and continue with your blabbering, I've work to do ,

She uttered and walked out leaving a grumpy annika ,

A- koi meri logic hi nahi samajthey hain ,(she pouted)

She made baby steps into her room with a tray in her hands, a tinch of shyness surrounded her face ,playing a perfect housewife! Nearing him she found him to be sleeping still and it was already 7am now ,with a currented smirk she murmured " muje sleepyhead bolthi hona?" No annika no ,don't think of all that now ,it's not the time for revenge .It's time to score ! (She thought )

With a slender smile on her lips she bent down and whispered "shivaay utto na" while ruffling his hair. He being a light sleeper ,instantly tossed moving and placed his hand on the other side to trace his so called kumbakarnan biwi whom he thought would be sleeping till now . She ,who noticed this grinned smiling and raised her imaginary collar.

Deceived by his beliefs, he opened his eyes to get an enchanting sight which drizzled miracle to his morning .There she stood adorned in a nursery pink shaded saree embedded with feather streaks on it .Her sleaky loose hair played on her shoulders, and her mangalsutra being the only ornament she wore mentioning their togetherness . She carried a shy smile on her face which magnified her beauty ,for him to go nil of words to explain the same .

She clearly caught him gawking at her since past 5 minutes and all she did was to pressurize him more .Deliberately she shook her head making her hair strand play on her face and casually she tucked it behind her ears ,she knew he likes it when she does that ,Annika in full form!

A- shivaay ?

She acted normal ,

He didn't respond.

A- shivaay ?(she was loud )

S- haa haan ,

A- where are you lost idi.... shivaay?

Without replying he stood up and poked his finger on her cheecks ,

S- tum meri paanika hi hona ? Am I dreaming or what ,

A- arey ,it isn't a dream .Dekho...(she pinched him harshly)

S- ahhhh ahhhh, (he moved back )tum na .Vaise ,what's this new getup haan?

A- aaj ka special,

Saying which she forward the tray with coffee and his shock just kept on expanding. Like how on earth his ever so lazy paanika started doing all this !

S- mein ,brush karke aatha hoon .(still in shock )

He moved towards the washroom and she stood giggling more ,twirling her hair from front and back ." Kya cheeze hai tu annika?" she praised herself and stood smiling widely when suddenly her breath hitched feeling his hands ,snaking her waist from behind .Leaning on her he placed his chin on her shoulder ,he could feel her being statued straight. His breath was continuously steaming her neck as she crushed her fingers into her palm feeling it . Without her own knowledge she had a dreamy smile on her face .She didn't realize when she started titlting her head towards his's but by now ,her cheecks was already saving grace to his sharp nose which traced her soft tender skin . Holding onto that moment for a few more seconds he looked at her who stood lost in him,closing her eyes .

S- what happened Mrs.KyaCheezeHaiTuAnnika? Sound hi nahi aa rahi hai ?

He whispered gliding the hair which was enclosing her ear ,at once she opened her eyes and moved jolting away to find him standing there with a teasing smile .

A- tum na, hamesha meri mazak udathey ho (she frowned )

S- you look so cute ! (he expressed)

A- I know that ,

Saying this she placed the tray with a thud and rushed out from the room ,

S- attitude ki rani ,(he murmured)

Arranging everything which she had prepared for him exclusively by her own ,ok ...yeah more credits to pinky and YouTube too ,she awaited for him to appear for breakfast ."Let me give him another shock "she thought.

A- aunty vo ,I forgot to bring that paneer masala. Could you plss ,

She requested while filling the empty glass,

P- haan annika mein abi aaya ,

She brought it ,placing it on the table she caressed annika's cheecks before speaking.

P- tere idiot ke liye itna sab kiya haina tum? He's going to faint out of shock!

Both of them started laughing. Being it too late for breakfast, still he hadn't come .Sighing, she went to the room to call him .As she stood near the doorway she found him arranging his clothes in a case hurriedly while speaking with someone over the phone.

S- haan ,I'm on my way .I'll call you when I reach there ,(he hung up )

A- kahin jaa rahe ho?

S- haan annika ,I'm leaving to Calcutta. It's an important work ,

A- suddenly?

She asked with disappointment,

S- vo ,ek urgent kaam nikal gayi .Investors meeting hai vahan ,...I'll return in two days

He replied standing infront of her ,

A- dho...din ,

She stammered with a dull face and he immediately cupped her face ,

S- hey paanika ,sirf dho din .Aajaungi tere paas,hmm?

She nodded with a faint smile ,

S- now come on,

He instantly pulled her in a warm hug and planted kisses on her hair and she stayed within him closing her eyes .

P- it can be an important work ,but will you skip your breakfast for that?

S- mom plss ,it's already late . Mein vahan kuch kaalunga,

P- par annika tere liye...

Before she could complete annika held her hand signalling her not to trouble him ,and pinky sighed.

S- teek hai mom ,mein chaltha hoon .

He left from there not before hugging his biwi once again ,indeed two days without his paanika was definitely a worst thing which he would leastly opt for.

P- what did you do annika ? If I had told him that you had prepared everything for him ,khaake hi jaatha hai vo aaj.

A- it's ok aunty ,he was tensed actually. Koi urgent kaam hoga, it's fine...we will find some other day .(she smiled faintly)

Though she was dissappointed too, she didn't show it up. It happens ,she convinced herself.

After sometime,

A- it's too boring to be an housewife, what do woman even do at home? Not just a day I can sit idle at home and how is it that some ladies manage to prolonge as housewife throughout life? Weird!

She spoke to herself hearing which pinky smiled ,

P- agar ,tumhe itni bore ho rahi hai .Watch some serials then ,housewives never miss their routine of watching daily soaps .

She suggested and giggled ,

A- so ,housewife matlab serial dekhna hai ? Ok I'm ready ,

She immediately put on the TV and changed the channels one by one, and finally viewed one show which was playing on . It had a scene where a lady ,decked up in the most heaviest saree wearing all the king sized ornaments painted with the deadliest makeup who was descending down the stairs ,in a sloooooooooow motion.

Annika was already in her half sleeping mode watching it ,like the same scene was prolonging for a two more minutes .And then....

Then again somehow the lady had reached down after which she gave a thundering dialogue "mein tumhe chodungi nahi " showing instant closeups of all the people there....again ...

Annika was hell pissed off ,she immediately pressed the off button grabbing the remote .

A- ye dekthe hain ladies? (She asked with a weird face) My God!

And suddenly the landline rang ,it was a call for shivaay from the factory as his phone was unreachable, they had contacted the landline .

A- it's ok ,you can speak to me .What's the problem ?

The person mentioned that the senior staffs in the factory has provoked a strike ,demanding their annual rise in payment . He also mentioned that the situation was getting worst there ,

A- nahi nahi ,you don't have to call shivaay . Uhh ,I'll... I'll come to the factory.

As her car entered through the gates she found a quiet lot of people seated on the ground holding boards and shouting for their demands .She got down to be received by the factory manager ,

A- did you inform to the police,

M- not yet mam ,if you say then...

A- no , not needed. It might break out big ,

She straightly walked towards the crowd ,

A- if you all shout like this, there's no way we could find a solution .Plss try to co-operate .

She sounded loud ,conversing with the crowd.

" We were patient all these madam ,but now we've realized our mistake .You cannot fool us from now.Aap jaake shivaay sir ko bulaiyiye" one from the crowd yelled .

A- dekiye ,mein yahan aapko madad karne ke liye aayi hoon .Plss trust me ,

She insisted honestly and the people seemed convinced as for now,

She immediately arranged a conductive meeting with all the union leaders.She knew that shivaay would have not failed to hype their increment accordingly .But the union leaders claimed, negotiating it .She sensed something fishy ,she ordered the account details from the chief and checked all the records of the past one year .She was shocked to find that ,shivaay's most trustworthy employee Mr.Desai had played cheap games and commissioned all the credited money which was meant for the workers. And the staffs didn't knew about their increment even ,but according to shivaay they were well paid with their increment .Since Mr.Desai was an old experienced person who worked with his dad ,shivaay had no reasons to doubt on that man and trusted him blindly .

Annika took immediate step and dismissed Mr.Desai with a black mark ,and sanctioned the deserved money which had to reach workers .

Union leader - thank you so much madam (he folded his hands )

A- actually ,I had to thank you . If you all didn't react today ,I don't know when we would have caught him .I'm sure ,with utmost trust on shivaay ,you all would have been patient till now .

U- jii madam, shivaay saab bahut ache hain aur aap bhi .Sorry for the commosion madam ,

A- it's ok .

At night ,

S- so meri pyaari annika itna bada kaam kiya hai aaj!!

Placing the laptop on her lap ,she passed on a smile for her hubby's statement who was continuing his nth time of appreciation ,on Skype .

A- arey bas ,teek haina .Pata nahi ,sach mei meri taareef kar rahe ho ya mazak ?

S- paanika ? Pinky promise (showing hai fingers ) do you know how proud I'm? Tum na ,sach mei ...best ho ! The way you support me ,pata nahi tumhare bina kya hoga...

A- isn't it moving overboard now? I've too pinch myself , ain't I dreaming ?(she giggled )

S- pagal ! ,Vaise how did you manage to cook all those stuffs today?

A- how did you know?(she asked being shocked and moved close to the screen )

S- hey hey ,first move your face back .Itna close aaogi tho dar lag raha haina muje? (he acted serious)

She instantly moved back with a stern reaction,and he was enjoying it though .He loves to annoy her!

A- enough idiot (she hit his face on the screen ),ab bologe? How did you know?

S- mom ne kaha, I'm sorry haan . You would have been dissappointed right ,

A- hmmm ,all my wifeygoals plan flopped .(she pouted )

He looked at her for a second before speaking ,

S - shall I tell you something?

A- kya?

S- tum 100% wifeygoals ho ! (he declared with a contented smile ) not just because of today annika . Sometimes, I myself feel that there's no one who could understand me the way you do ...not even mom . It might be because ,our relationship is strongly rooted with friendship which has build us both as lovers today . Mein bas mazak kar raha tha uss din ,you are the the best wife ...my best friend ...my best lover ...my best life annika . You won't know what I'm feeling while telling this to you ...like I'm contented annika ,I'm satisfied.Muje bas kuch nahi chahiye life mei, sirf tum

She could clearly witness his never ending love for her ,through his words .She teared up ,

A- chal idiot , agar tum ye sab mere saath baitke boldiya hotha na ...tho mein tumhe ek deep kiss de deti abhi

She frowned ,hearing this his face gleamed in joy

S - sacchi???

A- ahem ahem...now come on ,don't get diverted. Continue, taareef karo muje !

She ordered cutely and he couldn't just admire his girl more !

Their sweet fights intervalled with sweet love inbetween continued as the clock striked 12 ,1 ,2 PM and further too.
