Annika was busy with her laptop ,while shivaay was engrossed in playing with pari who was now enjoying her toss ride in his hands. Every time she reached his arms ,back from air ,she let a heartful smile which emerged a new feel in him . She looked a little angel ! Annika who noticed the two enjoying ,smiled before speaking .

A- shivaay , enough. Kuch hojayegi usse .

S- kuch nahi hoga, see how happy she is...haina ? Haina meri pari ?!!

He blinked his eyes looking at her for which she again showed her cheerful smile . Annika shook her head and concentrated back on her work . With having enough  much of fun ,pari still demanded for more .

S-  time for your milk, so it's enough for today haan . Kal karthei hain baby .

He safely made her sit on the bed ,he was about to leave to the kitchen when he noticed annika to be totally locked with her laptop. She was typing something seriously with a cute frown surrounded all through her face . He couldn't stop his mischievous mind which delivered an idea . He slowly sat beside her ,and before she could do something he just randomly pressed some keys  continuously breaking her whole content .

Her eyes popped out watching this ,she passed a terrific glare on him . He deliberately placed a wide smile on his face ,irritating her would top his list of likes !

A- what did you just do idiot?

She asked in a daring voice ,

S- tho  ? I was getting bored .Aur tum ,you always stick to work . Mujpe dhyaan hi nahi deti ho ,

He pretended to play  innocent ,

A- so you did this  ? You know how important it is ? I've been preparing this since past 2 hours and you (interrupted)

S- hey annika ,it's ok . See ....( he undid and the letters disappeared) it's perfect now . I thought of playing with you ...as usual ,sorry .

Saying this he tried to get up but she pulled his hand and made him sit back.

A- jyada mat karna, baito. ( she ordered ) Tho tum chahthi ho ki mein tuje attention dhoon?

She asked raising her eyebrows while he gave a slight nod with his eyes already travelling it's way to reach into her's .

A- teek hai , ye time... hubby's  time !

Immediately she  leaned towards him swiftly and he cocooned her within him . Her head was entirely on his chest ,while he had already caged her waist holding her close . She could actually feel his continuous breath hitting her neck ,which automatically brought all kinds of tickling sensations along .

He noticed her to be giggling,

S- kyun has rahi ho?

He asked tucking her hair behind her ear ,she chuckled before replying .

A- kitna ajeeb haina  ? Tum aur mein ! I just couldn't believe that we both ended up together ,ended up in love !

She exclaimed happily and tilted above to read his reaction , he just smiled and pecked her forehead twice .

S-  you are my destiny annika . Jahan muje hona chahiye , vahan pouch chukki hoon mein. Tere paas !

His soft tender tone of voice just did something to her at that instant.  She turned facing him and  gently clung her arms around his neck and pulled him close making there foreheads touch. 

S- someone's on full romantic mood haan ? !

He smirked ,

A- spoiler mode mein chalun ?

He immediately shook his head watching which she slightly hit her forehead with his's .

A- awww! But what about pari's milk?

She asked innocently and he moved back at once with a jolt ,

S- oh my god , I just forgot it . Stove mei ...

He hurried to the kitchen while she made up a cute grumpy face .

A- tuje nahi bolna chahiye tha annika ,

She smacked her head .

A- sir , I'm really sorry sir . Pata nahi ...ye kaise huwa ...

" I don't want any excuses annika ,past week ki saare important case reports are in that pendrive. And now you come up with a story that you've already lost it , and moreover ...you've no backup too. Are you kidding me ? "

Her boss was on full fledged anger today as she had lost their important evidence ,which they thought would lead  the sensational talk of the week .

A- as per the convention, we aren't suppose to hold the backup for old cases once they get published.

" don't you come up with rules to me ,  I know everything.  What about the latest report? The bribe case ? Vo evidence bhi uss pendrive mei hi haina? "

A- y..yes sir ( she nodded hesitantly) but , I'll make the arrangements sir ,we will publish it as per our schedule. I (interrupted)

" nahi annika, I don't want any explanations . Just leave ,I'll handle it "

A- sir ,

" I said leave ...and haan collect your suspension order from sruthi "

A- suspension?

She was shocked

" yeah ,you are suspended for a week . Don't always expect me to be liberal , this punishment is for being careless. You're one of the best members in our writers team , so I'm stopping with this . If you repeat it again, you will have to face the consequences,you can leave now "

He ordered strictly and she had no options rather to move out .

She threw her bag  and sat on the bed with a thud. She gritted her teeth in anger cursing herself for being so careless.

P- tum aagayi? Did your daadi call you ,where is she? Did she reach there  ?

A- aunty plss , leave me alone for sometime.

She shouted without her senses and pinky silently left the room knowing she was disturbed with something. Hearing her noise shivaay came there with pari in his hands ,

S- kya huwa mom? Why is she shouting ?

P- pata nahi ,koi tho gadpad hai . Tu jao usse dek ,

Saying this she took pari from him and left ,( pinky knows about pari )

Shivaay entered the room to find her throwing all things from the closet and  drawer ,searching something .

S- annika ? Kuch doond rahi ho?

She continued her work without answering him ,

S- I'm asking you something annika ,

Saying this he held her hand ,halting her . He was shocked to find her glistening  eyes ,he cupped her face at once .

S- hey annika ,kya huwa ?

She sniffed once before replying,

A- I'm suspended,

She whispered with her eyes hung down , he lifted her chin before asking .

S- suspension? Kyun ?

She sighed and explained everything,

A- I've never been so careless before, not even had a black mark you know  ? Par ab ,

She shook her head and looked away ,while he hesitantly removed his palms from her cheecks and stood quite.

S- I'm sorry annika ,

He said in a low voice ,

A- why are you apologising shivaay? I'm the one who lost the pendrive.  Tum kya karoge, chodo .

S- I took the pendrive ,

He admitted and bent down being guilty while she looked at him with widened eyes .

A- wh..what did you say ?

She whispered in shock ,

S- I had to delete a file ,vo assistant commissioner ki case so I took...

Before he could complete she jolted away and stood apart from him . She knew that the assistant commissioner was his long time family  friend,

A- when did you become so selfish shivaay ?

Her eyes screamed anger and shock as still she couldn't believe that her shivaay  did this .

S- annika listen to me ,mein

She stopped him showing her palm straight ahead ,

A- bas ,I know everything.  Tum jaanthi ho na ,mein kuch bhi bardaash karoongi par mere job...you know what it means to me . Par phir bhi tumne ...baath mat karo mujse,

She shouted and rushed out at once .

At night

Both slept at extreme corners of the bed ,with pari at the centre. She continued turning her head on either sides viewing both alternatively. True that this baby girl knew nothing ,but atleast she had witnessed both cuddling into each other when darkness surrounds the room at night . But what happened now ,something unusual . She looked both of them once before crawling towards shivaay .

He sensed pari  near him and placed her on top of him without opening his eyes as he was surrendered to sleep now . Annika who felt this motion beside her just tossed over in sleep and somehow ended near him . As usual she had encircled her arm around him and resumed her sleeping session,  while he who felt this, subconsciously pulled her hand and made her  lean on his chest . Both clutched on tight to each other ,while pari smiled looking at them and soon dozed off.

Morning,

He was combing his hair standing infront of the mirror and  watched her reading newspaper seated on the couch  .

S- mom said you had nothing since last night . You're angry on me ,but you punish yourself by starving, chodo na ...have this .

He sat beside her and held the plate for her . She got it from him and kept it aside ,

S- khao na ,

He insisted ,she immediately threw the newspaper away and stood .

A- I told you not to speak with me right? Leave me alone ,

She shouted and turned to leave when he caught her hand instantly. She wriggled in his hold ,but he was too strong to oppose.

A- idiot! Chodo ,

She punched him with the other hand but he somehow caught her and pushed her back till she hit the wall locking both her hands behind .Her breath hovered front and back with her chest hitting his's directly. She passed a strong glare which screamed showing her anger and looked away without meeting his gaze .

S- annika listen to me ,

A- chodo muje

She wriggled more and he tightened his grip before shouting ,

S- paanika ,baath suno mera .

His sudden roar  made her shiver as she stood still without motion .Slowly she moved her eyes to meet his's which was surrounded with anger now . He sighed holding on his rage before speaking,

S- I know you've been suspended because of me and I do feel guilty for it ,but I have no regret in deleting those photo evidences from your pendrive .

He admitted confidently while she looked at him being baffled .

S- tum media logon ko kya chahiye ? An exclusively sensational news to top all charts and ratings ,you have nil care about others right ? Whatever it is ,you want your sensational news to be published first. Uska 13 saal ki beti hai... pata hai tuje ? What about her life ? I agree ,bribery is wrong but ...but what did his daughter do ? Will she be able to lead a peaceful life if this news comes out? Uss bachi ki future ka savaal tha ye ,so I did it . I'm sure ,I don't regret it .

He admitted with a determined voice and moved out leaving her in a pool of thoughts.
