I have to get away from Misa and back to Ryuzaki. But if I do that right now, Misa will use the death note on him... I have to think. Using the bathroom would be cliche and Misa would catch on quickly... but if I fake a phone call, I could get out of here without a problem! Misa's stupid enough to fall for it!

Now to text a trusted person... MATSUDA!!!

I'll tell him over text that I needed him to get me out of a tough situation so he can call me and say I needed to get back to headquarters as soon as possible.

That way I can escape from her and get to L. I have to thank Matsuda later.

I type, carefully, one word at a time under the dinner table.

My phone rings.

Thank the gods of death.

"Hey, Light! We need you back at headquarters. Theres too much to do so its improtant."

"I'll be right there." I say with relief.

Shutting off my phone, I say to Misa
"Sorry, gotta go right now. Maybe next week".

And I ran out of the restaraunt.
