We pulled into the parking lot of our apartment, just returning from our double honeymoon.

Rebecca and I grabbed our bags and headed inside, setting them in our room before plopping down on the couch.

   "What a weekend." I said.

"Tell me about it." Rebecca replied.

   We sat quietly after that.

We never got the chance to finish our talk, she asked me if I wanted a baby, which I was all for. But, we never got to actually talk about the plan or how the hell we were gonna have one. I was fine if she wanted me to go through the procedure and carry it, but I was really hoping she didn't.

   "So..." I started.

   She giggled. "So..?"

"I think we should talk." I replied.

"Don't tell me you want a divorce already."

I chuckled. "Hell no, you're stuck with me for life."

She smiled and kissed my forehead. "Good, now what is it you wanna talk about?"

   "The baby."

"You still want one right?" She asked.

"Of course, I just... how do you plan on doing that?"

"Well, I figured we'd adopt one." She replied.

I let out a sigh of relief. "Thank God... I mean, I would carry it if you asked. But, let's be real, I smoke and drink way to much for that."

She giggled. "Trust me, I thought about that already."

I let out a chuckle in return. "So... when do you wanna head down to the adoption agency?"

"Well, I was thinking tomorrow sounded good." She replied.

I smiled and kissed her. "That works for me."

The next morning, we woke up bright and early, we didn't wanna be late.

I threw on my favorite t-shirt, black skinny jeans and my leather jacket. I walked into the living room and was greeted by a very beautifully dressed Rebecca, she wore a knee high white dress with a light blue denim jacket over it.

I looked her up and down. "You look... great."

She giggled, returning my look. "And you look... like you."

I pulled her in for a quick kiss. "You know it, baby."

We hopped in my Corvette and drove off to the adoption agency...

We pulled into the parking lot and I shut the car off.

   "You ready?" I asked.

She took my hand and nodded. "Hell yes."

I smiled and gave her a quick kiss before exiting the car, following her to the door.

We walked in and strolled up to the empty counter, taking a quick look around before glancing at each other.

"Uh... hello? Anyone there?" I asked, to no one in particular.

"Sorry, one second!" A lady's voice rang out from a closed door behind the counter.

Rebecca looked at me and I shrugged.

Just then, the door opened and out came a stunning redhead. She wore a faded, denim jacket and black leggings, an  AC/DC shirt peaking out from behind her jacket.

   'Wow.' I thought.

Rebecca nudged me, pulling me from my thoughts.

"Uh... Sorry... we, uh..." I couldn't get my words straight.

Don't get me wrong, I loved Rebecca more than anything and she was the most beautiful girl on the planet. But, something about this girl rendered me speechless. I might've been married, but I was still human.

"Sorry about her, no morning coffee." Rebecca said.

The girl chuckled and leaned on the counter. "No worries, I'm Dana, how can I help you ladies today?"

"We're here for... um..." I started, but Rebecca saved me again.

"Well, first off, I'm Rebecca and this is my wife, Skylar."

Dana extended her hand. "Nice to meet you both."

Rebecca shook her hand and she moved to me.

I lifted my hand and shook hers lightly, avoiding eye contact.

"We, uh... we're here for a... a baby." I managed to get out.

Dana laughed. "Well, that's what we do here."

I closed my eyes and shook my head as Rebecca grabbed her attention.

"We would like to adopt a baby." She said, an embarrassed smile on her face.

Dana smiled and nodded as she opened a drawer and pulled out a piece of paper.

"Well, I just need you guys to fill this out, then we can put you on the waiting list." She said.

Rebecca nodded and took the piece of paper. She walked into the lobby and took a seat.

I just stood frozen. 'Rebecca's gonna kill me.'

"I like your shirt." Her voice rang through my thoughts.

   I turned to her. "Hmm?"

She giggled. "I like your shirt, Judas Priest kicks ass."

   I smiled. "So does AC/DC."

She returned my smile, her perfect white teeth shining brighter than the sun.

I inhaled deeply and walked over, sliding into the chair next to Rebecca.

"I need a smoke, I'll be right back." I said.

She simply nodded, but I knew she wasn't happy with me.

I grabbed my cigarettes from the car and leaned on the door as I lit one.

I tried to relax a little. 'You love Rebecca, she's the most beautiful girl you've ever laid eyes on. So why am I so fucked up when I try to talk to Dana? Rebecca's way prettier than she is.' My thoughts raced.

I looked around the empty parking lot, well almost empty. There in the middle sat a 1971 Plum Crazy purple Dodge Challenger R/T.

I walked over to check it out, puffing away on my cigarette as I inspected the car.

"Like it?" I heard her voice call out from behind me.

'You've got to be kidding me.' I thought.

Dana walked up beside me, a lit cigarette hanging from her lips.

   "It's beautiful." I replied.

"Thanks, I restored it myself." She said with a proud grin.

"Well, it looks great." I said as I flicked my cigarette butt and turned on my heel to leave.

"I take it the Corvette's yours?" She asked from behind me.

"Yes, ma'am." I replied, still facing the other direction.

   "You ok?" She asked.

I let out a heavy sigh. "Yeah... I just... you're really hot. But, I can't think like that because I'm married and I love my wife more than anything."

She giggled as she walked up next to me. "Well, I would never try to steal you away and as long as you love her, you've got nothing to worry about, right?"

I shook my head. 'What a dumbass.'

I turned to her and stuck my hand out. "Let's start over. My names, Skylar."

She smiled and shook my hand. "Dana, nice to meet you..."
