I didn't get much sleep last night, but the show was in a few hours and I was determined to be there on time and blow the roof off the place.

I stood in front of the bathroom mirror, putting on as much black makeup as I could when Rebecca stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around herself.

She walked up behind me and looked at the mirror over my shoulder. "Damn, I'm loving that black lipstick."

I turned and planted a soft kiss on her lips. "Well, It looks way better on you."

She chuckled before walking out to our room.

After putting my makeup on, I got started on my hair. I fluffed it up and combed it over to one side, sticking a few pins in to keep it in place.

Then, I quickly changed into my outfit and met Rebecca in the living room.

"So? What do you think?" I asked, gesturing to myself.

She smirked at me as she stood and walked over, resting her arms on my shoulders. "Mmm, you look irresistible."

I smiled. "Thanks... So, what're you wearing?"

She stepped back. "You'll just have to wait and see."

I faked a pout, causing her to laugh. "Sorry, sweetie, you just aren't that charming."

I groaned. "Fine, I'll see you at the show then?"

She nodded. "Before you leave though, I got you a present."

"Oh, you didn't have to get me anything... wait, was I supposed to get you something?"

She grabbed a box from the kitchen table and handed it to me. "No, I got this for the show."

I opened the box and pulled out a shiny, new bullet belt. A wide grin spread on my lips. "How did you know I wanted one?"

"Uh, because you used to talk about it all the time." She mimicked my pose. "Rebecca, how cool would I look with one of these? Dude, I'd be just like Lemmy from Motorbreath." She finished, mimicking my voice as well.

I laughed. "First off, it's Motörhead, and I don't sound like that."

She chuckled. "Whatever, a simple thanks would be nice."

I planted a quick kiss on her lips. "Thanks, babe."

She smiled. "No problem."

I quickly put the belt on and modeled it for Rebecca. "So? How does it look?"

She scratched her chin, nodding to herself. "It looks like the best twenty bucks I ever spent."

I laughed, giving her a playful nudge. "Alright, I gotta run. I'll see you later."

She nodded and gave me another quick kiss before waving me off...

I walked up to the front door of Twist, bumping into Beth and Kris. Kris had a whole 80's business woman thing going on, shoulder pads included, while Beth wore, well, what Beth normally wears.

"Hey, guys. You look great, Kris... and Beth, I thought you agreed to dress up?"

She shrugged. "Denim jackets were popular then."

I shook my head. "Fine, c'mon."

I opened the doors and let them in before walking in.

We stopped in our tracks, taking in all the people dressed up.

"Jesus Christ, I've never seen so many mullets and leg warmers in one place." Beth said.

"Tell me about it." I replied.

Kris smiled. "It's like walking back in time."

I patted her shoulder. "I'm glad you like it."

"At least someone does." Beth added.

Kris gave her a nudge before they wandered off.

I walked up to the bar. Blake stood behind it in a long sleeve gray shirt that loosely hung off her shoulder, tight blue pants with leg warmers, her hair was in a sideways pony tail, a red bandana wrapped around her forehead and one long earring hung from her right ear.

"Wow, that outfit's really... something." I said as I took a seat.

She laughed. "My mom let me borrow some of her clothes."

"Hey, at least it's authentic."

She rolled her eyes and smiled. "The band's in the back, you're on in a few minutes."

I nodded before heading to the back room. The rest of the band stood there all dressed up.

"Damn, that hair is totally bitchin'." Bailey said.

"How much 80's slang do you plan on spewing tonight?" Kat asked.

I chuckled. "Well, I appreciate it, dude."

Kat rolled her eyes.

"Are you guys as excited as I am?" Alice asked.

"Definitely." I replied.

"This is gonna be so gnarly." Bailey added.

Kat let out a long, annoyed sigh. "Let's get this show on the road before I strangle her." She said before walking out onto the stage.

We laughed as we followed her out, giving Blake the thumbs up.

She nodded and ran up on the stage, microphone in hand. "Hey, everyone, how're you feeling tonight?"

Loud cheers and applauds rang out.

"That's great to hear. As you know, this is an 80's themed show and that counts for the music to. The band has a great set list of the very best hard rock and heavy metal the 1980's had to offer."

A few cheers and whistles rang out.

"So, without further ado, I present to you, the undisputed queens of rock and roll, The Cover Girls!"

More loud cheers rang out as Kat started pounding on the drums, then Bailey started in on the opening riff.

"Alright... I got something to say."

"Yeah, it's better to burn out"

"Yeah, than fade away!"

The rest of show went off without a hitch, we played our asses off and loved every second off it.

We finished up the last song and ran off the stage to thunderous applauds.

We regrouped in the back room.

"Woo! That was awesome!" I shouted.

Everyone pulled into a group hug. "Did you see those people? They loved it!" Bailey said.

"Of course they did, we rocked this place!" Kat replied.

A knock on the door cut our moment short.

I walked over and opened it, letting Blake, Wendy, Jen, and Candy in.

"Holy shit! You guys rocked!" Candy squealed.

We all wore matching grins.

"Thanks, that was a lot more fun than I remember." I replied.

Everyone laughed.

"So, when's the next show?" Jen asked.

I glanced at the band. "What do you guys think?"

Kat shrugged. "How about next week?"

"That works for me." Bailey replied.

"Yay!" Alice cheered.

I chuckled and refaced Jen. "Next week I guess."

She laughed.

"Oh, by the way, Rebecca's looking for you." Wendy said.

I nodded. "Alright, thanks."

I pulled everyone into another quick hug before walking back into the bar.

My feet immediately froze in place when I spotted Rebecca in the crowd. She had a smirk on her black lips and her hands on her hips.

A studded, black, leather jacket hung from her shoulders, with my favorite Judas Priest t-shirt peeking out from under it. Tight, black pants ran down her legs and into a pair of harnessed, leather boots. Her hair was feathered and puffed up like a punk rocker and she had on more studded bracelets than I could count. Topped off with black makeup and two shiny skull earrings.

"So... how do I look?" She asked teasingly.

"Uhh... wow... I've never been more turned on in my life." I replied.

She chuckled before pulling me into a deep kiss. "You guys sounded amazing by the way."

"Thanks... now, don't get me wrong, you look so hot in that outfit. But, I kinda wanna rip it off of you right now."

She giggled and leaned up to whisper in my ear. "I have an even better surprise planned for when we get home..." She replied seductively, running her hand up my thigh.

I sucked in a tight breath.

"...But, that'll have to wait 'til later." She finished.

I groaned. "You're such a tease."

She laughed and ran her finger under my chin. "I know... but, you love it."

I couldn't help but smile. "True."

She giggled as a few more of our friends walked up.

"Great show." Dana said, patting my back.

"Agreed, you guys killed it." Angel added.

"Thanks, guys." I replied with a smile.

"So, what do we do now?" Stephanie asked.

I looked around at the huge crowd. "Now, we party!"

So, we spent the rest of the night drinking and having fun, just like the good old days.

With Rebecca back and The Cover Girls officially reunited, I was excited, for the first time in a long time, to see what the future had in store for me...
