"Are you sure you have everything?" Rebecca asked.

"Yes, I triple checked it." I replied with a smile.

She returned it and pulled me in for a kiss.

A honk from the parking lot broke up or little moment.

   "That's them." She said.

"Can't they just give us five more minutes?" I asked, throwing on my best puppy dog eyes.

She shook her head and chuckled. "You don't wanna be late for our honeymoon do you?"

"Fine. I just don't understand why we have to drive to the beach house."

"Well, if you wanna walk, we'll meet you there." She replied, lifting her bag and heading for the door.

I followed suit, letting out a small laugh.

We met Wendy and Jen in the parking lot, where they stood next to a jet black 1966 Lincoln Continental convertible, with the suicide doors.

"Damn, where'd you get the car?" I asked, inspecting it.

   "Bought it." Wendy replied.

"What happened to the Corvette?" Rebecca asked.

"Oh, I still have it. But, it doesn't really say 'just married.' You know?"

We chuckled as we got into the car.

   "Everyone ready?" Wendy asked.

   "Hell yes." Jen replied.

"Ready as I'll ever be." Rebecca added.

   "C'mon, while we're young." I muttered.

Wendy floored it out of the parking lot and flew down the street.

"That quick enough for you?" She asked, causing the other to girls to giggle.

I rolled my eyes as we sped down the street towards the beach house.

——————

It was still somewhat daytime out when we arrived at the beach house.

We all unloaded our luggage and headed up the stairs to the door.

Once we were settled into our rooms, we all met in the kitchen.

"So, what's the plan?" I asked.

"Well, I figured we'd hang out here, maybe go swimming. But, tomorrow we're hiking up to the cave." Wendy replied.

"Sounds good to me." Rebecca replied.

After we spent the rest of the day swimming and relaxing, we all retired for the night.

I finished changing for the night and walked back into the bedroom, seeing Rebecca sat on the bed.

I plopped down next to her.

"So, I was thinking." I started.

"That's never good." She replied with a giggle.

"No, hear me out. I was thinking... we never consummated our marriage." I finished with a smirk.

"Uh, I seem to remember a drunken session in the ladies room the night of the wedding."

I rolled my eyes playfully. "C'mon, that doesn't count and you know it."

She chuckled as she leaned forward, planting a soft kiss on my lips, then my cheek, then down my neck to my collar bone.

I pushed her lightly onto her back and straddled her, pulling my shirt over my head and throwing it to the floor.

She ran her hand over my chest and down to my waistline.

I leaned down, pressing my lips to hers once again.

"Now, isn't this better than the ladies room?" I whispered in her ear.

   She laughed lightly. "Definitely..."

————————

I awoke the next morning, Rebecca curled up in my arms.

I kissed her forehead and she started to stir awake.

She blinked her eyes open and smiled at me.

"So, am I right or am I right?" I asked, a smile on my face.

She planted a deep, passionate kiss on my lips.

"That answer your question?" She asked with a giggle.

After we were dressed for the day, we met Wendy and Jen in the kitchen. They sat at the table, coffee mugs in front of them.

"So, how'd you guys sleep?" Wendy asked with a smirk.

I glanced at Rebecca before answering. "Terrific."

Everyone chuckled as we took seats at the table.

After our morning coffee, we got ready for our hike to the cave.

"I sure hope you checked the weather." I said.

They laughed as Wendy answered. "Double checked it."

After the familiar hike, we emerged into the familiar clearing.

We all took seats around the makeshift fireplace and fell into normal conversation as the sounds of nature rang out around us.

I looked around at my best friends and my wife, smiling to myself. 'What more could a girl ask for?'

As night started to fall, Rebecca leaned in close and whispered in my ear.

   "So..."

   "So?" I whispered back.

"So, what do you think about kids?" She asked.

   "They're cool I guess." I replied with a shrug.

She giggled. "No, what do you think about us having a kid?"

I looked her in the eyes. "Seriously?"

   She smiled and nodded.

I returned her smile.

   "Hell yes..."
